Grate is very heavy and works well for the large fires we like to build. The only issue is that it is not made "square" so one of the 4 "legs" doesn't touch the ground.......sorta like an old table that doesn't sit square on the floor. This doesn't impact it's use or functionality, so it's barely worth mentioning......but a lack of pride in workmanship should never be condoned.

So far so good. The grate allows for a nice air flow below and the mesh keeps the embers against the burning logs longer. When I add more logs they catch pretty quick. A bonus was the great price!

This coming holiday I will giving everyone I know with a fireplace or a grill a box of these matches. A box of matches, a bundle of fatwood, cocoa mix, and cinnamon sticks in a basket with a bow. I am very pleased at how quickly I received my order and how I no longer have to almost get in my fireplace to light it and the matches are easy to light. Very useful and reliable product.
