When in its normal position for use, the cart's handle is significantly higher than the highest, horizontal edge of its "bucket." Not a problem at all during use. However, because the handle's highest point is above the upper-most, horizontal plane of the bucket, the cart cannot be stored vertically to easily rest flat against a garage wall; and, hanging it on a garage wall by a hook holding its handle will not let the cart itself rest "flat" against the garage wall - - the bucket and wheels protrude significantly away from the wall, instead of the cart resting "flat" against the wall. You need significant storage space to store the cart, as a result. Otherwise, very good product.

Product is wider than described. My paths are 30" wide and cart wheels don't fit on the path. When tipping it forward to dump a load, it does not stay tipped - I consider that poor balance. The handle is too high. Also, when putting it together, the support bar is not wide enough to use both sets of washers as directions indicated. Overall, I was highly disappointed in this product.

Since I transplant, divide and propagate many plants in my garden, the cart has been perfect for toting them about. It's lightweight, yet sturdy.

A Great Cart!

I loved using the cart to haul my fresh picked veggies from the garden. Lately I've hauled heavy concrete stepping stones....easily! It sure beats using our old wheelbarrow! Life just got a lot easier for me and I'm in my 70's.

Not as Sturdy as it Looks
By Michelle the Woods
from Northern VA
Good balance in design but poor choice of materials. Don't use this for anything but carrying the dry leaves in the pictures because the wheels bent use under the minor weight of normal garden waste in less than 1 month.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Lightweight, but wheels not that sturdy

I like using this cart, but one day noticed that one of the wheels was all bent and had to order another wheel and tire.

About Me Getting Started
This cart is very useful. It is light even when loaded. The only "con" is putting it together, it was a bit difficult but you only have to build it once. Also, I just noticed one of my wheels is slightly bent - not sure when/how that happened, but the cart still works well.
Great for light loads
By Dirt hauler
This cart is so smooth and extremely handy for hauling light loads around, but be cautious with very heavy loads. I bought the cart 3 months ago to haul dirt and mulch around. Unfortunately, I have to pretty constantly tighten the bolts and one of the wheels has bent already. I have been using it still for about a month with a bent wheel and it is bending more and more each time. I went to a Plow and Hearth store and they were kind enough to order me a couple spare bolts but were unsure about how to replace a wheel. Pretty soon it will be unusable unless I can figure out the wheel situation.

It is so light!
from Alta loma, CA
I love it!It is so light that I can pick the whole thing up by myself when dumping.
Great Help in the Garden!
I use the garden cart for all my gardening needs. Especially when I am weeding my garden or mixing peat and compost. It is so lightweight I can pull it uphill with one hand!
from Long Island, NY
Somewhat expensive but well worth the price for quality and use around the garden!
Use It Constantly
By Gardening Fanatic

I use this cart to move soil or bark mulch and to take loads of weeds, etc. to the mulch pile. The only drawback for me is that I am just about 5' 3" tall and the bottom support drags on the ground unless I hold the handle up off the ground. This can be a bit awkward and tiring.

I bought this cart (two months ago) for everyday gardening but especially for mulching. I get about 12 yards of mulch every year and wanted something big to expediate the chore. I chose this cart instead of a comparable cart because the tires of this cart do not have inner-tubes. The last thing I want to deal with is fixing flat tires. I also don't see the need for them as this cart rolls along just fine. This cart is big, so you will need space to store it. It won't hang on the wall because of it's shape. At least, not for me.All said, I like this cart and would buy it again. Just wish the price was better.
Just what I wanted
from Stockton Springs, Maine
It's a little heavier than my last one but the solid wheels were very important to me. I am getting used to it and only worry about the foam on the handle breaking up, but we shall see. This is the only cart I have found on the market that has the solid rubber wheels and I definitely didn't want the pneumatic wheels so I am happy with this purchase.
Happy with this purchase

Much easier on the back and neck than other wheelbarrows.

we have miniature donkeys, horses, dogs and 10 acres of land. we use this garden cart for everything under the sun. our previous cart lasted about 15 years and i expect this one to do the same.
One of the worst purchases EVER!
from fort walton beach, fl.
at first i was very happy with the cart. i used it to move manure for my horse. however, after 1 week, one wheel became so bent it would not roll very easily. this cart would probably be good for leaves or something...not up to heavy work...although they advertised it would move 200lbs! it was VERY expensive...but i felt it would be good for my neck and back...what a mistake!

Great Yard Cat
It's so lightweight and easy to push around, even when it's loaded!
from Seattle, WA area
[...] Instructions for assembly good enough. Need two to assemble otherwise it is awkward but twister game champions would do fine by themselves. We use this cart all the time to gather fallen branches after storms, transport pruning cuttings to our burn pile, etc. Much easier to pull uphill due to light weight yet it still holds a good load.
Easy to move. Comfy handle
By Mary the Gardener
from Lebanon, NH
I have a large yard with slopping areas. Many gardens. Need something that moves easily and carries a good sized load. This cart fills the bill.My son put it together for me but so far it seems sturdy. My last cart had wooden sides that rotted. I am hoping this cart will last longer.
I love my cart!
from Breese, Illinois
I use it to haul rocks for landscaping, moving things around in the yard, and various other jobs around my home.
By Donna Gee

Really do need 2 people to put together because it's awkward shape/size. Can piece together alone, but need other person to hold cart while things are tightened up. The product itself is pretty cool, easy to maneuver and not back breaking to use, like a tradtional wheelbarrel. [...] I will probably not order from P&H again.
I would purchase this item again.

I purchased this item for my husband as a surprise. He loves it and uses it constantly. Easy to use and gets the work done.

FINALLY A CART THAT IS FEMALE FRIENDLY
from Dillsburg PA
The padded handle feels great in your hands. The large wheels allows the cart to roll over uneven lawns even when full. The cart size is great for a the female stature. I can walk with the cart without my feet hitting any part of the cart. I should have bought this years ago.

Love this cart
from Frankfort, KY
It's everything it's advertised to be. I love that it is lightweight. Just hope it will be long-lasting. Bought it in early spring 2010. So far, I love it. It is just so convenient. It's enabled me to plant a lot easier, as I have clay in my soil so always have to add to it. I carry my additive soil around in my cart and use it for mixing. Walking is not my best activity, but I can handle this cart with ease.
