This full-bodied, Half Button Irish Brushed-Cotton Irish Flannel Shirt has long been traditional wear in the Emerald Isle. Made from preshrunk 100% heavy cotton flannel (brushed on both sides!), with banded collars, a roomy breast pocket and extra-long tails to wear in or out. I wear this shirt either along or over other tops. I was thrilled to find a flannel that was both beautiful and comfortable and, most of all, soft. All of my family prefers material that feel soft next to the skin--almost like wearing your favorite childhood teddy bear to keep you warm.

However, this shirt is a "strange cut" in my opinion, definitely runs small out of the package, and shrunk a little on top of it all. Materials seem good, so if you are shaped like a hobbit, this may be the shirt for you.

We hate this shirt. It shrunk on the first wash. Would have sent it back but was delayed due to illness.I shop with you and usually love your products.Sorry to be so negative but it is the truth.I washed in cold water and even air dried the shirt hoping to prevent this from happening. It was advertised as PRE SHRUNK.

I bought this shirt for my brother last Christmas, and after opening the package from Plow & Hearth I couldn't believe the quality of this shirt. It was so much more actually seeing it than in the pictures. After my brother opened it, he said the same thing. It was a much greater quality fabric and color than he imagined as well. I haven't ever bought anything from this company that wasn't top notch when it came to quality.
