As someone else pointed out (but not yet corrected by Plow and Hearth), the hardware is useless for mounting this on a shed wall, as they are toggle bolts for a 1" thick wall.

Haven't tried mounting it yet (gotta go to the hardware store), but I expect I will also discover that the coils fall through if the hose has water in it. The photo is misleading.

Still, better than a flower pot to store the hose in--always nasty little black widows hiding out in there.

This a very attractive hose holder but, as some other reviewers have pointed out, the average coil hose falls through the slots. I'm still able to lay the hose it this holder but it takes some time to get it right. Still better than letting it dangle to the ground. I recommend this product with the warning of the hose size issues.

The wrought iron is solid, but not too heavy and is a very attractive piece, but it does not hold a coiled hose very well as the hose slips through the spaces. Also the basket did not come with mounting instructions.

The hose basket I purchased is perfect for what I needed. It is attractive and as I said durable. I use it for my curly hose on the back patio and the basket keeps the hose off the ground and neatly curled up for the next time.

I was rather surprised to find some very useless hardware supplied. It seems to me (and from the picture in the catalog), that most people will be installing this item on the outside wall of a house. The hardware supplied was useless for this purpose. Rather frustrating, for the price, to have to run down to my local hardware store and purchase and paint my own hardware in order to install it. Other than that, a very nice idea!

Gets the hose up off the ground so I can mow & trim without moving it, but because I have an antique farmhouse, it isn't some cheap plastic thing. Perfect!

I love this item and will most likely buy another. The coiled hoses I purchased from another retailer came with holders that could be mounted to the outside of the house, but they were a nightmare. I spent more time trying to get the hoses back into the holders than I did using the hoses to water. I saw this and thought not only would it be attractive, but no more fighting with the hoses! It is serving it's purpose brilliantly.

It is quite attractive, but doesn't do the intended job. Perhaps it was meant for only the brand of hose sold in catalog, but then it should have stated that clearly in the ad.

We've installed this hose basket on the front of our home and it looks nice! It installed easily onto the bricks and is very sturdy. It holds the hose and Wand Nozzle with ease and works out nicely! (Much nicer than a traditional hose & reel system!)

The additionof two basket supports the lenght of the unit would prevent the coiled hose from faling through and becoming entangled in the basket itself.

Love the basket. The only problem was that it came with different hardware than shown and did not work. The screws stuck out way too far, was ugly, and we had to but caps and paint it black to cover it up.

I use the hose holder on my deck for my coiled hose. I love it. It's much better looking than the one that came with the hose originally. It's sturdy and looks very nice and tidy at the same time. My husband is really impressed with the way it looks too. It was a little bit expensive but you only get what you pay for [...]My Cat Spinner was on back order but when I received it I was totally thrilled. Soooo Cute for Cat Lovers.

The problem with the product is that when the coiled hose is full of water (which is always) it is heavy and slips into the gaps in the metal construction. It is then impossible to pull the hose out easily, it has to be lifted up and untangled from the basket, every time. The design needs at least 1 - 2 more horizontal 'webs'.

I hated to have to use my garden hose when it was stored under the faucet. It was dirty and a pain to have to coil / uncoil. Buying a coiled garden hose solved part of the problem, but buying the coiled hose holder has been wonderful. Although I had a problem attaching to the house (I'm not very handy), once I did this, the holder keeps the hose off the ground without the chance of the hose becoming tangled.

This hose holder is the best one we've ever had. It looks amazing on the wall of our porch, and keeps the hose off the ground where we were tripping on it. We're no longer fussing with wind up hose boxes. Thanks for the beautiful and functional design. It takes up so much less space!
