Comments about Product: Assembly went ok. We did see a problem with the bottom being too open between the 2 bars. We solved this by purchasing 1/2 inch Black plastic Hardware Cloth at Home Depot. (It comes in a roll of 3'x15') We measured, cut it off & wrapped it around the bottom, fastening the ends together with 'zip' ties. It filled in the open gap & so far is working very well. We've only had it, and full of lots of wood, for a couple of weeks.
Curved Firewood Rack
Comments about Product: High quality product and nice appearance
"Don't judge a book by its cover"
Comments about Product: I had no problem with the delivery. Product is nice and easy to assemble. Assembly directions were poor and not used at all. The product is good but it would be better if you had a steel mesh on the base for the kindling. We had to build our own screen to keep the kindling from falling through the steel. A better more attractive cover for the wood would be a big improvement also.
Very sturdy, Easy assembly, looks great!
Comments about Product: This was very easy to assemble. Now I can store lots of wood with easy access right out my door on the porch. Looks great too!
Ok, Not Great
Comments about Product: This product looks good and was somewhat easy to assemble. Had to make sure no bolts where tight before all where installed. Several pieces of the powder coating flaked off during assembly. I sprayed exposed metal surface with primer and then repainted. Should not have to do this. Otherwise, a good product.
Comments about Product: We bought for ouselves a few years ago and liked it so much, bought it for our daughter
To many issues for the cost.
Comments about Product: I was shorted 1 lock nut and had to replace it. Also came with 2 areas were the powdwer coating was chipped off. To many issues for the cost.

Beautiful, Functional Firewood Rack
Comments about Product: We quickly and easily assembled this firewood rack (we did use our own ratchet rather than the included one) and placed it on our front porch. It is filled with seasoned split firewood and could not be more beautiful. It holds about a half cord. I can't speak to its long term durability as we just got it, but it seems very sturdy and substantial.
Nice function and decor in one!
Comments about Product: Good storage and looks nice on our porch too!
Comments about Product: Wonderful!
Overall nice rack
Comments about Product: This is overall a nice piece. It's well designed and attractive, and holds plenty of wood. What you can't see in the picture is that the middle iron pieces (with the diamonds attached to the ends) do not extend into the center of the rack, only the sides. Combined with the fact that the foot pieces attach on the outside of the main pieces, you have 18" of space in the middle. If your logs are any shorter than 22" or so, they will fall through the middle. I would have liked to see some sort of an optional insert to hold smaller logs. I used a piece of wire fencing to resolve this problem. It works great and is hidden by the wood on top of it. 4 stars with one taken away for this issue.
Great log rack!
Comments about Product: We bought this to put on a covered porch. It hold so much more than it looks like it would and is very attractive. My husband was originally skeptical but now wants to buy another one for the downstairs.
I can't say anything about rust and heat resistance yet because we just got it. But everything I see so far is positive.
Comments about Product: Holds enough wood without taking up a lot of space

Worth the money!
Comments about Product: This is a beautiful high-end piece. We love it! Looks fabulous on the patio!
Functional, yet attractive!
Comments about Product: This was purchased for my mother. Easy to put together, and is durable. The attractive design looks nice on her back deck. She is very pleased, which, after all, is the MOST important thing!
Fine quality, sturdy, attractive.
Comments about Product: User friendly. Nice to have a storage area for kindling.
We also purchased the cover which fits perfectly, keeps the wood dry. The design makes it easy to get to the wood. The cover is of excellent quality.

This is the best
Comments about Product: We love this wood rack. We bought it 4 years ago, and it's still going strong! And still looks almost new.

This Rack Stacks Up!
Comments about Product: A bit pricey, but worth it. Local retailers do not come close to this. Not only does it look great on our porch, this rack holds quite a bit of wood. The space at the bottom is a clever idea for storing kindling. When assembling the rack do yourself a big favor and discard the wrench! Use a ratchet instead.
Beautiful but did not hold the weight
Comments about Product: This is a beautiful rack but with not even 1/2 season of use, ours popped a bolt, dropped a side and we realized the bottom of both feet/side joints are rusting and one broke free and the tube bent. The pieces are powder coated hollow tubes and are welded together in places (but shallow welding so as to not blow holes into the interior of the hollow pipes). Given that the metal is hollow and the sides at such an angle - it's pretty but in our case did not hold. Perhaps we had a defective one but I'd hope for *much* better from a Plow & Hearth item.

Very pleased with the firewood rack
Comments about Product: Normally I wouldn't buy something this expensive, but I loved the design. The wood on our porch always stayed in a mess~ those days are gone with the Curved Firewood Rack. We use it on a covered porch so we can enjoy the beauty of the rack. I was afraid that the rack would be flimsy, but it is a very heavy duty unit.
Better packing needed

This is an excellent product!
Comments about Product: We purchased this wood stacker for our front porch. It is of excellent quality and beautiful. It is a durable, heavy duty stacker and fits enough wood for a week for us. I would recommend this product to anyone.

i would buy this product again.
Comments about Product: we love our wood holder.
Comments about Product: The material is strong. It looks beautiful. I setup the rack at garage such that I could temporarily store the firewood there. Even though the price seems a bit higher than local home center, it is worth every penny (in terms of quality).
Didnt last two weeks
Comments about Product: Already ripped at velcro seam within two weeks of actual use.
Comments about Product: When the snows get deep, it's nice to have this on the back porch. It stores plenty of wood for a wood stove if the bad weather sticks around. Very sturdy and easy to put together.
Comments about Product: Just as described, the rack was easy to assemble. Originally I had planned to use it outside the garage. Once assembled, it was attractive enough to put on the front porch and I changed my mind.
Love this rack, I hate to cover it!
Comments about Product: I bought this storage rack because it was attractive and holds a lot. The cover is blah, and we leave it on all of the time so we never even see the rack. The cost was right, so I'm happy we got it, but if you can spend less money for another basic rack, it makes more sense since you'll probably never see it anyway!
We Love it!

Great product at a great price!!
Comments about Product: Product was a gift and they loved it. It stores wood on their patio. They even went back and bought your cover.
Rugged good looks
Comments about Product: We purchased this wood rack last Fall to place on our screen porch. I was very impressed with how rugged it is, and I also like the design. I can store kindling on the bottom and split wood on top. We lose power quite often here in Maine and keep this wood rack stocked and ready to go just in case.
Firewood Rack Cover
Comments about Product: I was excited to buy this cover for our curved firewood rack, but after 1 week on the rack it is already showing signs of heavy wear from the wind. Cracks and rips have formed anywhere the cover had a crease from being folded f[...] I will be returning it this week.

Firewood now happy
Comments about Product: My front porch is much more organized and my firewood stays contained. This firewood rack is practical and looks good. The only issue I had is that my kindling was too short to fit in the kindling area. Overall a great product.
Easy to assemble And looks great
Comments about Product: This rack holds less than some others, but it looks decorative on the deck, next to the back door. I pull logs from it without tracking snow or even getting wet.

Comments about Product: Really love the unusual look of this piece. It's functional and stylish.

Makes an attractive porch decoration
Comments about Product: I gave this as a gift to my husband to replace the big stack of firewood that was just on a couple of boards on our porch. It made the firewood go from utilitarian and messy looking, to decoration. This looks beautiful from a distance when filled with wood, like a sculpture or a work of art. It is very sturdy and I love its modern look.

Easy access/storage firewood rack
Comments about Product: I utilize this rack as secondary rack on my porch to store enough firewood for two weeks at time for my Wood Stove. Great access and just the right size.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
