Comments about Product: Original cushions were not what I wanted. Return and exchange was very easy. Customer service was superior...so good that I will be a raving fan for life of Plow & Hearth quality, standing behind their products, and pleasant customer service agents. Plus these are the best cushions on the market. Buy these and do not be disappointed.
Comments about Product: I purchased these to sit on the indoor sunroom floor with my grandchildren. The handle is a bonus feature as is the fabric which repels the usual dog hair that collects on regular fabric.
Comments about Product: Not enough cushion. It hardly feels any different than sitting on the floor without these. We've only had these a few days and already the center button became detached on one of the pillows ruining the design of it and now does not match the other pillow.
Comments about Product: These are very pretty and dry quickly. Perfect cushion for the stone fire pit wall. Other reviewers have criticized this item as not being thick enough, but an overstuffed pillow with lots of filling would take too long to dry after a rainy day. I leave mine outside all the time and love that after an hour in the sun they are completely dry.
Comments about Product: cushions looked exactly like the picture and appear to be well made. However, if you are looking for a real floor cushion with some support, these are not the ones. The cushions have no heft to them even though they are 4". It's as if they are filled with polyester fiber fill and sadly, not worth the cost. I ended up returning them, as they were a big disappointment.
Comments about Product: The "20x 20" outdoor cushions I ordered (actually to be used indoors) arrived faster than I expected and I am extremely happy with them. The color (yellow) looks exactly like the picture and is really pretty. The dimensions were as described and that was important for a close fit for a window seat we had built. The cushions fit very well. They appear to be very well made. I had previously ordered a cushion for an outdoor bench and was very happy with it which is why I chose Plow and Hearth to purchase these cushions. I would definitely buy from you again.
Comments about Product: 4in cushion not firm at all. Pressed down to maybe 3/4in in thickness. Hoped it would be a decent seat cushion substitute but was not. Photos were deceiving giving the impression these were substantial cushions at that 4 inch thickness.
Comments about Product: The product I received was not what is pictured in the catalog. The catalog shows a double welted edge and a thick plump cushion. The cushion is not as full as shown and has a buttoned center which is not that comfortable. It would be much better without the button. You show a upgraded pillow in your catalog not what was shipped. Not as expected. But will probrably keep. I liked the throw pillows much better.
Comments about Product: I bought the cushions to use on a wood chair where the older square cushions had disintegrated. The cushions will work but I was not aware from the product information or photos that there is a button in the middle of the cushion.
Comments about Product: I purchased three of the floor cushions, which are ideal for bench and deck seating on our back deck. They are larger than I realized from the catalog pictures. The stitching on the handle of one came out the first time I picked it up by the handle. Otherwise, no problems so far.
Comments about Product: I got these for my kids' playroom & it has worked out great! These are tough, durable & not to mention, stain resistant. When the kids' have spilled stuff on them-I just take them outside & squirt them off! They dry quickly too. Another bonus is that dog hair doesn't stick to them.
Comments about Product: The pillows pictured are bright, w a light background. The ones that arrived were dark, not appropriate for outdoors, more like indoor furniture cushions in color. The search continues...
Comments about Product: These cushions are wonderful. Great for outdoor entertaining on the deck or use as a chair cushion if preferred. Our deck is ranch level so these cushions turn the edge of the deck, into a chair. Perfect for watching other activities in the yard.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
