    cushion great, bolster too tall

    I wish the excess bulk of the bolster was put into the cushion for the price. My 12 yr old 50lb dog likes the bed overall. But he would prefer to lay his chin on the bolster, but it is too tall (9 in)for him to even attempt that. I turned the bed so that he could see around the bolster when he is laying down, which made him feel more comfortable. I did not see a photo of this bed with a mid-sized dog on it, which might have helped me judge the oversize of the bolster.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
