This product is very well made and keeps both cats and the dog where we want them. Low enough to step over and high enough to make them think they can't jump over it (cats). We tried other gates but we had to put holes in the woodwork and that wasn't so great. This gate is perfect.

Great Pet Barrier

This is very attractive and functional. It is a little heavy, but guess that's a good thing, in that it is very sturdy. I would prefer wing nuts intead of the screws that you have to use a screwdriver to put in and out when you either extend or shorten it.

A lovely product. It is handsome and has nice weight. Keeps our little dogs in the kitchen with their beds while we go out. Also keeps them safely out of the way while company arrives. Prevents them from sneaking out the front door!

I have a Spanish house with a thick archway to the living room. This item fits in from wall to wall, convenient entry for person, two- 30 pound dogs don't even notice it. It bars their entrance, looks beautiful, and dogs stay out. They have access to the rest of the house so they don't seem to mind.Holes don't always fit, but screws can be secured well enough anyway.

Not heavy enough, my dog can move it.

This product is too light. My dog can move it by pushing it with her nose. I have to put a table in the corner so she cannot move it. Maybe it should have something to make it not move.

Very high end look.

We have two bostons that need to stay on the hardwood floors and off our white carpet and this works great. It is very unobtrusive and even matches the color of our floors. I like the fact that it is wood and not some make believe material. It is very easy to assemble.
