Comments about Product: Since I love RED & pockets, this cape is right up my much preferred alley. To me, with the lacy edging, & ability to have your name embroidered on the pocket are marvelous additions. I love feminine things, & this cape fits this description, to my delight. This cape is a rich red & warm piece of clothing. I recommend you get one for yourself, & wrap up w/a good book!
Comments about Product: This cape was a gift to me last Christmas. I ended up in the hospital and found this item very useful. It was so easy to throw over the hospital gown to go walk or sit in a chair. The fact that it has pockets really increases its usefulness - it gave me a place to put my cell phone. I liked it so much that I just ordered one for my elderly mother.

Great top, warm, easy to put on
Comments about Product: My mother is in a nursing home and the staff do not take home to put a sweater or sweat shirt on her in the winter. This is perfect because it looks nice and keeps her warm. Also, with her initials, it is more difficult for it to show up missing.
Great gift for 94th birthday!
Comments about Product: Gave this to my mom for her 94th birthday! She loves it. Red is one of her favorite colors. She likes the lightweight coziness and the generous size.

So soft and warm!
Comments about Product: I received my cuddle cape as a Christmas present. I absolutely love it. I keep it in my family room draped over my favorite chair. It's just the right size to cover my shoulders and arms. I gave one to my sister for her birthday and she loves hers. Both our daughters want one now.

Soft but rather spare
Comments about Product: I should have paid more heed to the other reviews. Nice idea, but not substantial or big enough to be of much use. Looks kind of like a big scarf with pockets. Probably would not buy this for anyone else.
Warm and Cozy
Comments about Product: I guess my sister liked it
Comments about Product: I bought three: Blue, Sage and Red. The colors are beautiful, but I was concerned about the weight of the fabric. It seems very lightweight, and I wondered how warm they would be. Mom used hers this morning while watching TV and confirmed that it is warmer than you would expect, and like other reviewers, she appreciated the lighter weight on her shoulders. Soft enough to snuggle in, and the pockets kept her hands warm even without the warmers. I hope the daughters are as happy with theirs!
Mom Loves It!
Comments about Product: I am so glad I ordered this for my Mom! She often feels chilly around the house. So this cape is perfect to wear over any outfit she has on...a Tshirt, a sweater, or even a robe. She can sit at the table for a cup of tea or on the couch to watch TV. While it would be nice if the fabric was just a slight bit heavier, Mom says it is very cozy. She especially loves to put the scented hand warmers (sold separately) into the deep pockets for extra warmth! I am planning to buy another cape for my Mother-in-law!

Pocketed, soft, enveloping
Comments about Product: Washes easily, dries quickly, and feels comforting
Very attractive shawl.
Comments about Product: this product is going to a 91 year old woman who's name was on a "giving tree". She asked for a hat and gloves and I also got her the shawl. I think she will be happy with it.
Perfect in every Way!
Comments about Product: Perfect in every way, got one than ordered another one, different color. Great quality and oh so cozy. Can wear anywhere even dressed up.

Wonderful and Snuggly
Comments about Product: Purchased this cape in green for my 89 year old mom and she is thrilled. She loves the color, the scalloped details, roomy size, pockets, and quality of the fabric. My mom likes a little extra warmth around her shoulders in the evening while she knits, reads or watches TV.
Comments about Product: It is only a shawl. The pockets are not functional. The pictures are misleading and I thought it was much nicer and more functional than what I received.
Comments about Product: I got this as a Christmas gift. I love it as I am always cold and with this cape I feel like the super woman of warmth!
Not a Cape!
Comments about Product: This product is described as a cape. It has no sleeves or armholes. It is an awkward wrap.

Comments about Product: This is perfect for me. I have fibromyalgia so I get cold easily and anything heavy is painful for my shoulders. This wrap is both lightweight and warm. Would like to see it in other light colors.
Pockets are awkward.
Comments about Product: Pocket placement is awkward to use.
average &disappointed picture vs reality
Comments about Product: It is easy to use just throw on but looks cheap and not a cheap pd.
Comments about Product: good
Comments about Product: I am sending this as a gift to a friend in the Northwest. She is always cold so hoping this will keep her warm in the evening. It is so pretty and feels so warm. I also loved the color (beige). Great product.
Thought it had sleeves
Comments about Product: I purchased this as a gift. It looked like it had a dolman like sleeve, however it is just a shawl. The material is thin. It will be good for light warmth if sitting at home watching TV. Wouldn't use for going out anywhere. It's priced a little high for the product you receive.
Picture a little misleading
Comments about Product: Nice soft quality and great for the price, but the picture gives the impression that it has sleeves (like a cape would) but it's actually just essentially a small blanket with pockets that you can wrap around yourself. It's nice but I really bought it thinking it had sleeves as something my mother could just as easily use while reading or doing something in the kitchen if she wanted something a little warmer over a shirt. Good quality though, just not quite what I expected.
Wonderful gift idea
Comments about Product: I plan to give this as a gift for my mom. It's perfect for chilly evenings or wearing when reading in bed. I thought I would put hand cream in the pocket for an extra surprise. Very soft and pretty

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
