Pavenex® Fireplace Blanket Stops Overnight Heat Loss

I actually saved $50.00 the first month I used this product along with the Thermalogic Insulated curtains I bought from P&H! I love my fireplace! Now I just wait for all the embers to cool and snap the blanket into place...plus once I put the screen into place the blanket is vertually invisible.

The blankets are made to fit the width of the fireplace, but not the width of the screen in front of the fireplace. Need another blanket to cover the rest of the screens also could have more magnets

My hearth room is always cold. I purchased a blow up pillow that covers the flue but cold air was still coming in through a side vent that didn't seal out the cold. My fireplace also has glass doors and the metal fireplace insert has open vent slits.
This cover is the best yet. Cold air does not pass through the fabric and the magnets keep the cover securely in place. My glass doors have handles and this caused the cover to gap at the bottom, leaving some air to come through, so I cinched the cover in three places at the bottom with heavy duty tape for a more secure fit - a simple fix.

I purchased this product to prevent drafts in my fireplace. It fits the fireplace well, stays put, and prevents drafts. I am so thrilled with my purchase and would suggest that others try it. It is the best money I spent this month.

We are using it over our glass fireplace doors where there is an open filigree design. the magnets hold it to the brass and it covers the entire fireplace doors. Just unfold it and stick the magnets onto the fireplace screen - Done! It Is definitely helping to keep out the cold drafts we get down our chimney!
