The description made this product sound so much better than it really is. It is not that fluffy. It seemed like a "rag doll"-type pillow that you can cuddle with, but it maintains its shape. Its a nice product but nothing to brag about.

THIS WAS JUST THE DOG I WAS LOOKING FOR BUT SO DISAPPOINTED WHEN IT ARRIVED. THE HAIR/FUR ON THE HEAD WAS FINE, HOWEVER, THE REST OF IT LOOKED MATTED AS IF IT HAD BEEN LEFT OUT IN THE RAIN AND WAS VERY UNKEPT.

SORRY TO SAY I RETURNED THE DOG.

Ok, I'm a budget shopper but I splurged on this as a Christmas gift for my child who really wants a real dog! Said child was thrilled!! Of course said child still wants the real thing, but this will do for now. It is excellent quality, super soft, BIG and is used often as a pillow. You can't go wrong if you're willing to spend the money!

My 8 year old son wanted a dog for Christmas and Santa brought him this Labrador pillow. He loves it - he sleeps with it and has even named it. This "enormous" stuffed dog really is the next best thing.

The Lab body pillow was given as a gift to someone who lost a real Lab. The recipient was thrilled and wanted to take it out of town to show the family. She loves the softness, the shape, the color and the comfort it brings to her. She and her husband both love it!

The head and paws are a different color brown than the body. They are more grey than brown. There is a hole in one of the legs. My husband loves it, though. So I will be returning it for another one. Hopefully, the colors will be the same and there will be no construction faults.

I expected something nice for this kind of money, and from Plow and Hearth. This purchase changes my opinion of everything on this site, and I will now hesitate to trust Plow and Hearth.

What I received is not as described. What came is an average, large stuffed animal, worthy of a discount store. It was a splurge to get them for my 2 kids (yes, I purchased 2.) One of them has half the stuffing of the other--neither is nicely stuffed. There are no beans to help hold the shape, and the paws are not sueded, as described. The fur is not extremely soft--it is less than average, cheap quality. Most stuffed animals sold today have nicer, softer fur. The color on this is a green-tinged brown--not the rich brown you expect on a Lab. You will not get what is pictured--there are no toenail details. The 2 I received will never lie as the one pictured. The legs and tail barely have stuffing, and just flop. There is something crinkly, like plastic, in one leg.

Unfortunately, after much plumping and arranging I was unable to make him resemble the photo. His back left leg actually appears to be a front leg haphazardly sewn on giving a rather creepy look. I understand this has been a problem with the bears which was the reason I opted for the lab. The paws are not suede nor are there any little toenails sewn on as appear in the zoomed picture. The front legs look like malformed stuffed socks; one of the front legs is so turned out it must have been a sewing error. I'm sorry I can't recommend this product. Too bad - I was really looking forward to getting it. I might try a different pillow.

I love dogs, but don't have a pet...this is a great substitute (and you don't have to walk it)! I'm in my early 50's and I bought the lab body pillow after my husband passed away this spring. I found the lab body pillow to be just the right size for me (I'm 5'7"). My Dad also passed away this year and his wife suggested the body pillow to me...she bought the calico cat. They make great snuggle buddies and comfort the soul as well as make great decoration on top of the bed! So cute! Absolutely Love it!

This was purchased as a gift for my husband. Our Black Lab had chewed his favourite bolster when she was a puppy and we never found a suitable replacement. When I saw this cuddle companion it seemed like the perfect solution with a combination of humor and novel practicality. He loves it and our Lab does as well. Great for napping on the floor in front of the television. No complaints here. Delivery was quick as well.

I ordered the laborador via [@] because I had some gift certificates. I think he's beautiful and I sleep with him all the times. Stuffed animals are not just for kids. I'm 67 and senior's like cuddly pets too. He's a bit pricey for people on a fixed income.

I had to put my chocolate Lab to sleep a month ago and was looking for something to comfort me in his absence. I looked all over the internet and finally found Plow and Hearth's version of a black and chocolate "Labrador". When he arrived, he was HUGE, bigger than my real dog was and was very cute and cuddly. I sleep with him on my bed and he takes up as much room as my real dog did! By the way, I'm not a kid, I'm 58 years old! It is not a true adaptation of a Labrador (thus the 4 stars) but he is big and he is cuddly and he is cute. He isn't my Rocky, but he'll do. It seems to be a quality product (I've only had it for a few days) and, for the price, a lot of stuffed dog! He's in a lying down position (his only position) and I've even put him on Rocky's bed! Kinda spooky but kinda cute, too. I think kids would get a kick out of this big dog and maybe some adults like me who are missing their pets will appreciate having a big hunk of stuffed dog lying around!

Great stuffed animal. He is so soft, my son loves this dog. He doesn't loose lint like other stuffed toys, and has kept it's shape perfectly. It's not too big, not to small.

I splurged on this for my nephew for Christmas and they sent me some pictures. The smile goes ear to ear. He loves it. He named it Cinnamon and it's wearing one of his dad's t-shirts. He sleeps with Cinnamon every night.
