Comments about Product: This cover is sturdy and holds up in all kinds of weather. Does not tear easily and hides and protects the grill while holding its quality appearance. Bought cheaper ones but always come back to these that will last season after season.
Comments about Product: The material is surprisingly flexible but looks like it will stand up to heat and sun. The color is a beautiful green. We've only had it on for a week, but so far it is a great cover. It is easy to remove and put back on. I only wish P&H offered the contoured cover in a 60" size. The square is large enough but looks a bit bulky on the barbecue.
Comments about Product: purchased as companion to table and chair covers. Table and chair covers survived a harsh Pa winter in great condition . I expect the same for the grill cover. For the price an excellent purchase.
Comments about Product: We have bought many grill covers in the past. They were black and ugly and very flimsy. This year we bought a new larger grill but no cover. I went on the hunt for large grill covers but found it hard to find the right size. I went to Plow & Hearth and found the perfect grill cover. It fits great and the quality and how it's made is amazing! Looking forward to many years of use with my new grill and GREAT cover. Thank you for making it so well!
Comments about Product: When new, the product looks and works well. Exposure to the direct sun over the time span of a year means living with faded, weak material that punctures easily or replacing it on a routine basis.
Comments about Product: I bought the large grill cover about a year & a half ago, in the hopes of finding a long-lasting product as I'd previously had to buy a new grill cover every year. It seemed to be very durable & was easy to use. But unfortunately, the cover has not stood up to the elements. We live in the northeast & the grill is on an uncovered deck. It seems between the snow in the winter & the hot sun in the summer, not only did our cover fade, but the fabric completely broke down. It started last year with a couple tears, & has now progressed to huge gaping holes.
Comments about Product: Our grill is located on our deck and stays out in all kinds of weather. I purchased the grill cover in hopes that it would "STAY" on our grill during bad weather and high winds! We have had our share of winter weather this season and I am happy to say that your grill cover is still on! Thank you for not only making a great product but offoering at a great price!
Comments about Product: appears durable, does not have flocking on the back, which mice seem to enjoy using to build nests. the tie down cords/security clips could use an improved design - not terribly secure
Comments about Product: I live in Bend Oregon on top of a ridge exposed to the elements. Wind, rain, sleet, snow etc. This product stands up to it all. When I take it off the grill is ready to go. I was a little concerned how easy it would be to take the cover on and off in the snow, would it be to stiff, frozen. Well, I grilled salmon the other night with 12 inches of snow on the deck. It was about 20 degrees outside. No problem, it came off, somewhat stiff, but not too difficult. It easily went back on when I was done.
This is a great product
Comments about Product: If the manufacturer would have used velcro tape to "tie down" the sides of the grill cover, instead of those strings, life would be much sweeter. But, overall, it's a great product.
Comments about Product: I bought the cover for the picnic table last year and liked it so much that I bought the BBQ cover this year. The color does fade, but they protect really well. I am very pleased with the products.
Comments about Product: This large grill cover fits nicely on our older Charbroil grill with wings, which we gave to our son. We have had this quality before and know it will hold up in our Montana winters and short, hot spells of summer.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
