Comments about Product: I finally brought my leather seat and back bentwood rocker back to life and function thanks to this product. I used just one for the seat as the back leather is in fine shape. It gives a nice look, matches well and will use the other cushion when washing this one, like a spare. This chair is about 15 years old and is perfect again.
Comments about Product: I used these pads for the rockers on the patio. The spindles on the back of the rocker would hurt your back. I had to get some pads geared for outdoor use. They have been great so far.

Easy to clean
Comments about Product: I purchased cushions in blue and lime green for all of my screened porch furniture 3 years ago and they still look new. I dip the cusions in a mixture of Oxi-Clean and water each spring, hose them off to rinse and lay them out to dry. They are easy to clean and dry in a short amount of time. I intend to purchase more to go with additional porch furniture. I love them !!
Comments about Product: Product met all my expectations, color, fit, etc. except I was sent two bottom cushions in one set and my husband had opened and cut tags before he realized - so we improvised - but I was disappointed that this got by an inspection.
Comments about Product: cushions and pillows were for our lanai in Florida so we needed fabrics that can handle the sun and rain. The lanai is visible from our great room so the colors had to compliment and be cheerful. It met all needs.
Comments about Product: We needed cushions for our 2 rocking chairs on the front stoop. We originally wanted the solid green cushions but they were not in stock. We ended up ordering the green stripes and are happy we did. They look great on the chairs and are also very comfortable. They feel heavy duty and expect them to last a while. We haven't had the chance to see how they stand up to stains and cleaning but the material feels like we shouldn't have to worry about either.
Comments about Product: These cushions were very pretty and vibrant but not comfortable on my rockers, unfortunately. I didn't think it was possible to be too cushy, but using both cushions really crowded the seat for me and I'm very petite. Ideally, just the bottom cushion would work better on my chairs. I had to return the product. I should note that size-wise the cushions measured correctly to my rockers.
Comments about Product: We recently bought a rocking chair for our front porch. There wasn't much color selection for cushions and we really needed something to make it go with the other furniture and the dark green trim on our house. The chair has a natural finish and looked very bland. Your cushions are just what we needed and they are comfortable.
Comments about Product: These rocker cushions are a perfect fit for our outdoor rockers. This is their first summer on our cabin deck so will wait and see how weather resistant they are, but so-far-so-good.
Comments about Product: I was looking for cushions for rocking chairs on front portch. They are not easy to find in a variety of colors but the ones from Plow and Hearth are just right. A lovely touch to our porch.
Comments about Product: Have tried the puffy rocker sets which cut down on comfort. Plow and Hearth rarely disappoints us.I especially like the choice of fabric. Most sets offer only solid colors. The backs could be a bit longer but these will do fine.
Comments about Product: I bought these cushions 10yrs ago and they are still in in good shape except the colors have faded. I really liked the long lasting quality and am so happy that you still have the cushions in the same color, black floral, I bought them again! Love it! Thank you P&H
Comments about Product: These look fantastic on my large porch rocking chairs. I got the stripe with black, gold, and red. The only thing I think would be even better is if the cushion that goes on the back of the chair would tie down at the bottom as well. It swings out at the bottom. Maybe it will relax and lie flat. I looked at the photo and notice they have a throw pillow on the chair and that keeps the cushion flat. That may be why the pillow is there! But they are nicely made and very comfortable. Wish I had seen these last year.
Comments about Product: I ordered the lime green cushions for two white porch rockers and a wooden bench. They are beatiful - a rich color - not the gawdy lime so frequently seen at discount retailers and really draw the three pieces together on my porch. Definitely would recommend the cushions (and the color) to friends. Thank you Plow and Hearth for another fine product.
Comments about Product: We purchased these cushions about 3 years ago. They fit perfectly and have held up well. We have our chairs on an undercover porch here in rainy Seattle and use them every day. Our porch is our favorite hang out place! After a few years now they are starting to grow some mold. I would like to wash them now but the weather is too cold and damp as they cannot be laundered or dry cleaned. They suggest mild soap and rinse, letting them air dry. Guess I will have to wait for that one week in July to do this. All in all, really like them and would purchase again.
Comments about Product: Have been seeking new rocker cushions for wood and wicker high-backs I've had for some time-these fit perfectly. The only improvement I could suggest is making the ties longer; the all-weather fabric is stiff to loop and secure. Otherwise--a wonderful product and outdoor decor refresher! Thanks!
Comments about Product: great color choices that you can mix and match. I just replaced my last cushions that were 14 years old (also from Plow and Hearth). I pressure wash them every spring. The ties are very important as it is windy here!
Comments about Product: The blue cushions for the rocker match the cushions I chose for the antique white dining set chairs. The sun room looks great with these matching cushions. They fit my antique rocker beautifully.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
