I have this curtain rod, bracket, and shelf set installed on a window in my laundry room where I have bird houses displayed. I set small birdhouses on the shelf above the rod along with a floral garland. It looks lovely. The quality is excellent and the red maple color is correctly described and appears as I had imagined and like the picture shown in the ad. The installation was quick and easy and a one person job. I have absolutely nothing negative to report about the item or its functionality.

great for extra space for plates aboove ones drapes which give it an extra touch. drapes hang nicely from the rods and finials I got also

Have one more window to purchase for. These are great since we have no window sills. You can sit items on there without worry that when windows are open with the wind knocking anything off. Would highly recommend these.

The maple finish blended well with the antique furnishings in the room. The previous rod was too small for the smocked curtains and I needed something bolder to match the drapes. Nice combination.

Very disappointed in overal appearance of brackets, looked as though they were finished in elementary school shop class. They split easily upon installation. Had to purchase 2nd set within a few months of installing first set just so I could continue to use my over the window shelf. Just dropping them on the living room floor upon installation cracked in half. $40.00 for the pair is ridiculous.

The only thing I didn't like was on the oak ones I wish they were unfinished so that I could have matched to my finish but with the curtains and drapes on them you don't really see much of the brackets..The paint wasn't real good on the white ones either so I had to repaint them...
