Great reading lamp
from Brookeville MD
I use this lamp to read newspapers and books while my husband watches TV in the same room. It provides plenty of light for me to read by without disturbing him. It also fits nicely behind my electronic keyboard so that I can easily see sheet music. I plan to order another floor lamp and the table model for my office.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It is great in my eyesight for reading

It has been great for working with my eyesight--- reading and writing had been a problem and this has been great after a friend told me about it.

Not What I Expected.
By Leslie the crafter.
from Billings, Montana
I wanted this for the corner of my craft room to use over a drafting table. It's about 2 feet shorter than I expected. There is no cover over the bulb, and it's pretty unattractive. It was also very hard to assemble as there is too much cord and it's very hard to push the extra length into the pole pieces. The light is not as bright as I thought it would be and the low and high settings are not much different at all. I would call them wimpy and extra wimpy.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
