    A departure from the ordinary, except...

    It took three weather stations to finally get one that worked. First one wouldn't sync to the external remote. Second one wouldn't even power up. Finally, third one worked. However, the humidity levels for both inside and outside are not accurate in the least. Time and temp works perfectly. Just don't count on it for humidity. Indicated external humidity of 29% when it was actually 81%. Love the colorful display.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Best Uses

      I gave this as a gift. Once we talked to a product specialist and found out that the batteries must be in the external sensor before the base will powerup the recipients were very pleased with it. It provides a clock in the den along with weather information. It is a nice addition to the decor as well.
