I was disappointed by the weight of this item. I expected it to be a bit more heavy / sturdy. I bought some trellis' from a big box store which were almost half the price and much more weighted and sturdy for heavy vines like morning glories. I bought them for the bell and the height but really would have preferred a heavier weight metal.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Love this trellis. Such good quality & design. Cute little bells but they'll need a hurricane to dingle.
I think it would have looked better if it was a foot taller but did purchase two as suggested.
Can't wait to get a vine growing!

This was my third purchase of this item. I have the other two in different flower beds. Although I do not have anything climbing on them now, they look terrific. I plan to grow clematis on two and honeysuckle on the other. What a bargain! They always draw compliments.

I ordered this for my garden this spring. I was happily surprised by its heft and moreso by its beauty. Right now, I do not have anything climbing on it, but plan to grow clematis from one side and possibly honeysuckle from the other. It is right in the middle of a kidney shaped flower bed with a small ground birdbath beneath it. You can't help but comment on it. I can imagine many other areas to place this and highly recommend it. It is a great value for the money.

I use this to flank the entry to my barn. It's substantial in size and heft and will certainly support anything i choose to grow on it. The shape is elegant and exactly as described. Don't expect the bells to ring! They're a bit heavy and didn't chime in 35 mph winds yesterday. But this does not take away from the overall quality and beauty of the item. Wish I'd bought 2 especially since I got it on sale. Thinking of buying another @ regular price.
