OK garden stake
I really need to subdue this stake in more bushes where it will blend in more. It is way too big and bulky to stand on its own. It is OK for a sale item and you kinda decide you can make it work somewhere, but it really is not an "I want more" item!!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Decent-glass ball can't be adjusted much
By Kai the Frog

make glass ball's hole smaller to allow for better adjustments. without being able to adjust the location of the swirls, it limits the beauty!

Attractive but doesn't glow
By Sunny in FL

Cute; nice size not too big or too small but it does not glow.
from Folsom, CA
The snail is a bright green and shows up great in the garden. It is smaller than I imagined, and not because the description was wrong.

I thought the turtle was adorable. I have many solar powered animal light sticks in my garden. I am totally disappointed because it has never lit up. It is in the sun almost 90% of the day. I kept it because it is cute but am glad other reviews tell the same story. The manufacturer really must address this issue.

There were no instructions so I was not sure what needed to be done about the lighting issue. Well reading the other reviews I found out. Mine have never glowed. They are in the sun 90% of the day.
Glowless garden stakes
from Reisterstown, MD
These garden stakes are in my front garden and are precious in daylight. The glass is colorful and the metal features of the animal are unique. However, I bought 5 of these to give as gifts and for myself; one or two of each critter; but the description is not accurate because there is no luminous glow at night. But since they are cute, I kept them. When I called this to the attention of the company they stood by the description of the article. I recommend if you just want daytime decor.

Snail, Tortoise, Frog garden stakes

I have these in my garden and in planters and they look great. Just wish that they would light up so they could be seen at night to show off their shapes. I would give this as a gift if they would light up.
Tortoise Garden Stake

This product is very attractive and colorful, but it has no explanation as to the solar effects, which are minimal,at best. It was unclear how this would be charged, as no directions came with it. Upon calling customer service I was told that the surface of the shell is coated to have a slight glowing effect in a very dark atmosphere!Too misleading and should be better described in the catalog.
