Standard Matelassé Sham
The French word, matelassé means "quilted," "padded," or "cushioned," and in usage with fabric, refers to hand quilted textiles. It is meant to mimic the style of hand-stitched Marseilles type quilts made in Provence, France. Our shams have a basket-weave texture with scalloped edges that would complement many décor options.

Did not work for me
By Retired and remodeling
I bought these shams for our queen bed - bought a PH quilt - wanted a contrasting sham since the quilt is dark blue. These shams are too big for even fat pillows and the scalloped edges are floppy and look goofy. Just did not work.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
