I bought these lights because they looked great, it is bright and the light output color is a cool white(a little hint of blue) It's easy to install and looks great. But when i received my post lights, one was perfect and the other was what looked to be refurbished(cap was a little yellow and dirty. As well as the glass covers for the led's were yellowing. Also the glass cover for solar panel was non-existent but it was on the other model i received) Problem is this wasn't coming from Plowhearth's but instead from the manufacture of the product. In the end i made it work by cutting a piece of plexi to size and mounting it with clear double-sided 3m Adhesive tape. those solar panels need to be protected from the elements so that was the reason to add it plus to make it match with the other cap.

These lights did just as I hoped. The back stairs to my porch were very dark, after rebuilding my back porch and Romeo and Juliet stairs with pvc railings and posts, I needed a solution to the dark stairs. I purchased 4 of them for my 5" posts. They are much brighter than I anticipated and have made this area safe.
