Sausage Casserole
12 slices white bread, crust trimmed and discarded
1-1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
1 lb. sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
1 can mushrooms, added to sausage
5 eggs, well beaten
1 qt. Milk
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Paprika

Butter 9’x13’ casserole dish. Place 1/2 of bread slices on bottom. Mix together sausage, mushrooms and cheese. Layer 1/2 of mixture in casserole. Place the other 1/2 of bread slices in casserole, then top with remaining sausage mixture. Combine remaining ingredients (except paprika). Pour liquid mixture over casserole. Sprinkle with paprika. Refrigerate overnight. Let come to room temperature. Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
