3-1/2 T. cornstarch
2 cups brown sugar
1-1/2 cups milk
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 T. butter
3 T. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
Mix cornstarch and brown sugar. Add milk, beaten egg yolks, butter and sugar. Cook until mixture thickens.
Add vanilla. Pour in baked pie shell. Beat egg whites until stiff, adding sugar gradually.
Spread on top of pie. Bake in 325° oven for approximately 15 minutes.
