We bought this set for our large screened porch and it looks fabulous, but we have not been able to use it due to the pollen that is flying around right now. We look forward to having many fun gatherings with it and spending countless hours relaxing on the porch.

I bought this set about 5 years ago and have enjoyed it very much. When it went on sale this fall I decided I would like another set for my other deck. Unfortunately at the time the set was sold out in the green pillows. I had already ordered and received coordinating pillows to go with the green. Initially I was told there was no guarantee that the green would be available later. So it was a question of sending back what I had or waiting. Plow and Hearth customer service was very helpful with my initial disappointment and luckily after a few weeks wait I was assured that the set would be delivered at the end of the month. It arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was a breeze. I noticed some improvements over my old set. Namely recessed screws with wood plugs and on the loveseat, an extra middle leg for support. I am putting the new set in my kitchen. The loveseat at my kitchen table. I bought a thick piece of foam to fit, covered it and put it under the pillows to raise it up so its at the right height for eating at the table. I also bought some covers for my other set which now will have to be outside for the winter. They work well but P & H does not sell covers to fit all of the pieces in this set so I had to buy some elsewhere. My older pillows have held up well through the years because I have taken good care of them, bringing them in every night and not letting them stay out in the rain. There has been some fading on the lighter floral pattern but not badly. I expect the dark green will fade more noticeably but we'll see. All in all I am very pleased with this set and P & H's customer service!!!

Bought this set to replace an aging wicker set, somewhat nervous after reading other reviews, but so far worries are unfounded! I was able to put together on my own, thought the quality seemed good, esp. for the sale price! Cushions are very thick and items seem well-made. I did purchase the lumbar pillows per others recommendation, and am considering purchasing a different color replacement cushion so can switch out when want a change. I had a problem with the table, was scratched and discolored when I received, they offered to send me another one and told me to keep the one I have, so very pleased with customer service and product:)

I've purchased outdoor chairs before from P&H and was very pleased. This time, however, after putting together this grouping, we discovered they were extremely uncomfortable. The angle of design is such that you can't lean back to relax. I will purchase more cushions and attempt to fix the problem, as I don't want to take it apart to return.
Large disappointment.

Bought loveseat, chair, endtable + 2 additional chairs about 4 years ago. Love the wood, and "look" but... seats too deep, backs not high enough = not very comfy w/o extra pillows; had to add reinforcing L brackets in center back of loveseat; nubby natural fabric & forest green fabric still ok but floral fabric rotted out in 2 seasons; P&H will sell 2 replacement cushion sets for 3/4 cost of buying the loveseat as of today's price on web. Hard to find replacement cushions elsewhere.

I purchased two sets of the loveseat, chair and table and one sofa four years ago. They still look great, are super comfortable and easy to clean. I just purchased another sofa and ottoman last week to add to my collection. Highly recommended. I have the floral pattern and textured linen.

We purchased these several years ago for the covered porch on the front of our house. We leave them out all winter(Wisconsin) and the only maintenance we do is bring the cushions in in the Winter and oil the set once each Spring.
**Important** It is necessary to have a lumbar pillow on this chair as it is a deep seating chair. However if you do, the seating is extremely comfortable and we sit out and read on ours all Summer long. Very relaxing and comfortable onceyou have the lumbar pillow in place.

Bought this 6-7 years ago when we lived in TN, and a move and half a decade later with 3 kids and 6 pets they are still all in one piece and functional. We have the chair, loveseat, round table and one end table. Are they the heaviest, finest pieces? Well no, but the price reflects that, and although a but wobbly they are comfy to sit on and have held up on a covered deck and a covered porch without any real maintaince for all these years. Our cats and dogs sleep on them and our kids spill on them, and frankly other than the moss that has grown on a few (I told you, no maintaince!) the antique floral still looks good, especially from across the porch. Well worth the money we spent on them all those years ago! The back is low, so for short people such as myself can be a bit awkward, but some cheap outdoor throw pillows fixed that problem easy for us. Would not want a taller set on my front porch anyway, our windows are tall and low and a higher back would block them too much. Cushions are still comfy too, have held up very well considering the lack of care.

Overall we are pleased. We are tall and long-legged family so we find this furniture comfortable and useful. Not so with our height-challenged friends. Love the material on the cushions and the wood is holding up in the Texas sun and heat.

Liked it so much & was so comfortable that I purchased covers so it will last forever! Easy to assemble & came with extras of all fasteners which is great when you are assembling over decking where a bolt may fall through the cracks.
High quality, dries after rain in minutes because of repelling quality of materials.
P & H customer service really worked hard with shipping to my rural home where I have issues with UPS freight. They went above & beyond working out those issues for me & were really friendly while doing it.
End of the year pricing brought this high end product down to the price of junk seating sets I had seen in the stores when looking locally.
Not one second of buyers remorse here. Only wish I could keep my cat off of it, she really loves it also!!

Great looking, durable sofa that cleans up easily. If your looking for back support, this is not it. It's the best with a lumbar support pillow and ottoman. We like the causal, slouchy feel, but some would not. It is VERY deep, but nicely relaxing with the ottoman. Cutting rug grip to fit & putting it under the cushions to keep them in place worked nicely. Great sofa to nap on, cushions are very thick & plush.

We love what the furniture looks like, but if we hadn't been able to have firm pillows made for the back of the chair and loveseat, and re-drilled the center support on the back of the loveseat & through-bolted it, and then shaved it to the same height as the two outside legs, we would have returned it!
As odd as it seems, we are happy with the end result, but if we had known what we would have to go through to get there, we wouldn't have bought it!

Using on exposed roof deck with "deep seating" chairs and love seat. Had a hard time finding a decent looking round coffee table for outside (that wasn't insanely priced). This looks nice, but the slats are uneven, so glasses, especially wine glasses tend to tip.

Other reviewers' comments about the back height of this furniture is the reason we didn't buy it sooner. But after countless hours of searching the Internet and local stores for an alternative, we took a leap of faith.
We bought the couch, two chairs and ottoman for the back deck of our country home, which overlooks a creek and waterfalls.
The low profile fits seamlessly with the setting. We ordered the striped cushions, which also complement the landscape, and later added the lumbar cushions. Wish they were more substantial.
When friends come to visit, we encourage them to kick off their shoes and settle in to the deep seating.
The couch is absolutely perfect for an afternoon nap or gazing up at the stars.
Spot-cleaning the cushions is a breeze after the occasional bird "fly-by" or dropped snack. Assembly took only a matter of minutes. Balancing the pieces could be a little awkward for someone working solo.
"It's hard to criticize," said my husband. But he suggests that an optional higher back on the seating (maybe a foot higher) would send sales soaring.
Though the nights already are cool in this area, we intend to keep this furniture outside well into fall. Earlier this week, I bought a fleece throw so that we can curl up in comfort for many weeks to come.

The chair and ottomans are fine - went together easily, feel secure. The couch is a totally different story. Unstable, wobbly, creaks and cracks when people sit on it, etc. Always hold my breath when a "larger" person sits down or when more than 2 people sit on it at once. There is a support piece that goes in the middle of the couch that doesn't fit properly (we've taken then couch apart twice to start completely over to make sure we're doing it correctly) and has broken off once already (only 2 months old). The part that supports your back is very loose. The deep seating on both the couch and chair are way too deep. We have to supplement the cushions with new pillows and lumbar supports. Shorter people can't even touch the ground with their feet when they are sitting all the way back. Very uncomfortable - too much work trying to make it work. All in all, not satisfied at all, but it's too large to ship back so we're stuck.

I bought this sofa so we could stretch out while reading on our porch. It works fine for that. As advertized, it is deep seating--too deep. The back of the sofa slants too far backwards-almost like a recliner. Even after adding a row of pillows in front of the pillows provided, my husband, 5'9'', finds himself leaning too far back. I'm 5'4", and feel like a little kid sitting on a too big sofa-my knees don't reach the edge. The pillows are very thick, but too firm for our taste. With such thick bottom pillows, you are seated too high to place your arm comfortably on the side arm rest. The polyester pillow fabric is a coarse weave that is not comfortable on the skin. I bought the stone color, which is more yellowish than tan. Overall, I don't think the sofa is well designed. It is "workable" but far from great.
