I am using this screen to block/decrease the view to the wood pile that is adjacent to the outdoor patio. I initially purchased the recommended stakes for installation, but returned them because they broke and were too weak for the screen. We replaced them with metal poles and spray painted them to match the screen. It totally does the job it was intended for.

My husband and I love our purchase. We order 2, so we could create some privacy with our very close (quarters) neighbors. The fence give us privacy without being overly obstructive. The color of the willow fence pops against our neighbors tall ornamental grass!! We are also going to add some tall pencil pine tree to give us a little more height privacy. It's going to look georgeous!

Very pretty, but too much trouble to put up....comes with no wire...just the "stakes" that are on the same page, so you assume they are what to order that goes with the willow screen, but not so....these are tomato stakes, not feasible. .....so I sent it back. Find a better option Plow and Hearth, and I'll reorder!!

The fencing is an attractive way to create privacy that blends in with a natural setting. I would not recommend, however, the stakes that accompany the fencing. They seemed too big for the fencing and pretty unattractive. Go to a garden store and pick something else out.

Ordered this product for privacy on my patio. However, it didn't come with anything wire to
attach fence to stakes which I buried 6 to 8 inches in the ground. After installation, I found
it's not as stable as I would like. Living in Central New Jersey I would have to see how it
performs after a heavy snow storm.

As a former professional landscape designer, I find this product to be perfect for this landscape design. I have used this product for the last 7-8 years; it is the perfect comliment to a small space garden patio, affording privacy from the neighbors and creating a beautiful backdrop to my plantings. The nature of the material (willow twigs) requires the fence to be replaced every 2-3 years, but like I said - perfect for the landscape design, so I replace it as needed. However, from my first fence (4 and a half stars)until this new (3rd) fence (3 stars), I have noticed that the twigs are farther apart which not only diminishes the privacy factor, it allows the twigs to break more easily. If the quality gets any worse, I'll need to find a new background for my landscape design.

We used this product against a chan link fence around the perimeter of our backyard It covered up the ugly grey of that fence and created a secluded environment. We absolutely love this product.

Over the years, I have ordered Willow Screens from Plow & Hearth and been very happy with the quality and function of the fence.

It's very apparent that they have either sourced it from a different manufacturer or the manufacturer has cheapened the quality of the product. I ordered two rolls of the screen to patch in an area around my deck. I was very disappointed when comparing it to screens I had purchased previously to find that the reeds in the screen were much thinner and it didn't really offer any privacy at all.

Had I not ordered it and thrown out the packaging 2 months prior to installing it, I would have returned it.
