This is the second hose I have purchased. It does it's job well-it is easy to handle and recoils as it should. I appreciate the UV resistant material, but was disappointed that my first hose only lasted one season here in Louisiana. I would have liked to get more out of the first one. I did notice that as the hose starts to wear, it does loose some of the ability to recoil. But of all the coiling hoses I have considered, this is still the highest quality I have found.

Comments about Plowhearth SpringHose And Wand Nozzle:
I like this hose because it is neat to store, also it is light weight. Only problem I have is that it does not last too long without leaking. I had 2 of the same but they sprung holes after 2 -3 years & had to be replaced. Only bought the same because of their lightness & neatness. Wish they were more durable. RED

I bought the heavy duty 75' hose and the basket last summer. Since I waited for my new patio to be installed, I really didn't use it much until this summer.I typically HATE hoses! This is the best one I've used so far. I have to stretch it across my yard to reach a flower bed. It does require a bit of pulling and a little bit of help recoiling but SO much easier than what I've used in the past! The storage basket is handy and looks nice too. I didn't purchase the nozzle. I use my own.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
good quality but not too easy to use
in order to reach all the plants on my terraces (balconies) must pull prett hard to get full length, and "guide" back to original "curled up" position to avoid entangling. probably should have bought greater length.

I have MS. Needed something long and light to water my garden. It's light but cannot be stretched very far be4 coils come undone. It was more expensive than I was planning and it turned out not to be worth it for me.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I use the hose to water my deck plants and to hose down the porch and deck. It's well made and recoils well, making storage easy.I like the hose but it's difficult for me to pull it beyond a certain point because of its weight. (I'm a woman)
One of the best purchases I've made.

Pretty good, but scratches/chips easily
from Millersville, Md
I like the wand, but even if you gently set it down, it scratches and chips the color right off - It works fine, just has some cosmetic issues
I have the springhose and the Wand Nozzle and have been very happy with both! They are both well made and easy to use.
So far it exceeds our expectations

We are hoping that it will last well in our hot Florida sunshine as we do leave it out. I like the fact that it rewinds itself so that it is out of the way on our paver patio. Seems to be made from heavy material.
Love the Spring Hose

1st nozzle-plastic broke on handle 2nd day of ownership. Called to replace and the company cheerfully sent a replacement and I didn't even have to ship back the broken pieces. I have been careful with the second wand and it seems to be working fine...My apartment front and back garden love it and it beats a watering can hands down...
The head came off the wand nozzle

The first time I used the wand nozzle the head popped off and it wont stay on. There are no screws to screw it back on. So its useless.
I would buy this product again

Happy with this garden hose

I have two of these hoses in the 75ft version. Paired them both with the wall-hung holder which I also love. Green color of this longer version hose is a great shade of green. One of my hoses and wall-holder sits in main entrance patio of my home and it looks great! My first hose lasted ~4 years before it began to spring a leak, so I gave 4 stars here. I'd expect 5+yrs but overall, I highly recommend this garden hose.
Way Too Expensive
By Disgruntled Bob
from Beecher, IL
This expensive hose sprung a leak after one year of use.I cut out the bad section and installed a new connector. It worked well for another season. Now, at the beginning of the third season, it has multiple leaks and is not worth trying to repair.
Nice idea, but leaks

About Me Getting Started
I bought this hose as a back up to my sprinkler system. I like the way it coils and is light weight, but the connector to the faucet is flimsy and leaks, despite having a washer and being tightened as much as it could be. I am now having my handiman try to replace the connector which will add to the ultimate cost considerably.

I LOVE IT!

This is so great! I no longer have to drag a heavy stupid hose around the garden. I have it attached to another hose so that if it needs to go a bit futher well, it does. And no dragging it back into place/ it just springs back! I love it!

Though I have sprinklers, I prefer watering by hand without having to drag a long hose behind me. Watering by hand is more precise and conserves a lot of water.
Hose good, wand nozzle not so much
from Beloit WI
The hose works well and is light weight. I used the wand nozzle for two years to water my garden without any issues except it leaked where it joined the hose. This summer I took it out and it doesn't work properly. The flow is poor, the head is balky when I try to change the setting, and the leaking is worse than last year. It's sitting unused in my basket and I'm not happy with it. I don't consider one season of trouble free use to be enough!
from Lakeville, MA
The hose doesn't spring back enough - it's difficult to get it back into the metal holder. Also, if you pull it much, it kinks and stops the water from coming out.
EXCELLENT [...] QUALITY OF PRODUCT.

Pleased with the quality durabilily of product--usability for a grandmother gardener---a bit cumberson and heavy.
Just as presented
Easy to use in my garden....no pulling and tugging as with a regular water hose.

I dont know if the hose will extend 50 feet, but love the convience- easy to use -pretty to look at.

The 75 feet of hose coil back together nicely; I put one arm in each end and carry it away. I'm not a large person, and I used to have to reel in great lengths of hose and always ended up with a big messy heap.
Stretches Out Over Time
By Erin H
from Madison, VA
For the first few months that I used this hose it kept its shape and sprung back into place. I used it twice a week the first summer for about an hour each time to water my garden. As the summer went on I noticed that the hose started stretching out and when it retracted it would tangle in on itself. Now two summers later I have to very carefully collect the coils together after each use or risk spending considerable time untangling it. Its resting place while not in use is in an area that receives afternoon sun, so this could be the cause of the stretching. I still prefer using it over my regular hose because its lightweight.
