Comments about Plowhearth White Ceramic Compost Crock:

I have only had this about a month so I don't know how it will hold up. I replaced a much larger crock which had cracked after several years of use and wanted something smaller. This fit the bill. It is big enough to handle several weeks worth of coffee grinds (what I use to put around my many spruces) but doesn't overwhelm my counter. Easy to open and a wide opening so there are no unsightly spills.

Comments about Plowhearth White Ceramic Compost Crock:

The compost crock is attractive, but if you use a liner bag and fill it reasonably full, then it is nearly impossible to get the bag out because the neck is narrower than the body - a monkey trap if you remember from the first Indiana Jones movie. So either you have to empty it when only half full or dump the stuff out without getting the bag out. I got this because the tupperware we used before was ugly, but functionally it's inferior. I'm disappointed because it was expensive for simple cannister.
