My husband and I received this firewood storage rack for Christmas and we couldn't be happier with it. It was easy for my husband to put together, it is sturdy and seems to be well made. Since we have a wood storage rack outside this one is kept indoors next to our fireplace. I especially like the tray to store kindling and to catch bits of pieces of wood.

      Be Realistic In Your Expectations

      Pros

      • Holds Enough Near House
      • Stylish

      Cons

      • Bark Pan Does Not Drain
      • Pain to assemble

      Best Uses

      • Holding Wood Outside Door

This rack is fine if you are realistic about its uses. I keep it on the deck near the back door, under a covered awning to hold the wood I will be using that night. I have a barn and chicken coop for actually storing wood. The bark/chip pan is a total waste of time, as any rain that gets into will just sit there and cause rusting. It has no drainage holes at all. So, if you are looking for a light duty, stylish holder, this is for you. And no, the bottom holder area will NOT hold the fat wood. I use an indoor trug/dough bowl for that purpose.

      Description not accurate

      By CCC

The description states that the fatwood will fit in the bottom of the rack for storage, however the fatwood is far to short and it will not store there. Very disappointing!

Wanted something attractive that we could store wood in our living room with and this doesn't disappoint! It is practical and has ample storage. Was also easy to assemble.

      Shipment packing not adequate

      By Steve

      from Arlington, TX

      Pros

      • Good design

      Cons

      • Thin Steel

      Best Uses

Packing styrofoam mostly degraded & scattered all
over interior of box, resulting in loose parts with scratches. Luckily no dents. Steel is thin &
will dent if bolts tightened too much, waiting to
see how it holds up when wood added.
