I bought these for my dad to go with the dispenser that I got from Plow and Hearth for Father's Day. Virginia peanuts are his favorite so I bought the honey roasted for something different. They were delicious peanuts but sometimes too big to dispense well since they weren't a consistent shape or size. Although they seemed a little pricey, I found out that the taste and crunchy texture did set them apart from the usual peanuts so probably worth the money. My dad loved them and thought the whole idea was fun and unique. It's what I'm noted for in my family so I'm glad I have places like Plow and Hearth to offer creative ideas that are good quality.

Great looking peanuts, larger than peanuts bought in the grocery. I purchased them to have at a family gathering but everyone, including my salt loving husband said they were too salty. I tried to shake some of the salt off but not enough came off. We resorted to wiping salt off individual peanuts as we ate them. I would not recommend them, nor would I buy them again.

This has to be the ultimate in peanuts. The crunch and flavor is terrific. Everyone loves the peanuts. The problem is that I do not have a store nearby so I have to order them and because of the shipping cost I only get them at Christmas when you offer the free shipping; otherwise I would eat them year round.

The only drawback to these peanuts is that they are regular sized peanuts and not large as advertised. Size isn't everything in this case as they taste really good and you get a full can. We enjoyed them and thought the price was reasonable. I would order them again. We had honey roasted and the unsalted peanuts. Peanuts are good for you and make a healthy snack.

The sea salt and pepper nuts were disappointing. They were more oily than the other types and there was hardly any pepper taste at all. Because of the oiliness, the crunch just wasn't there. I would not buy them again.

I've been ordering these peanuts from Plow & Hearth for many years. In the past, they were Jumbo sized and Extra Crunchy. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the peanuts in my last order. The peanuts were small with average quality and texture. The tins now come with a plastic lid. This new lid does not keep the peanuts as fresh as the old style metal lid. Sadly, these peanuts are no longer a premium product.

These peanuts are the best. Other companies call theirs "jumbo and salty" and that their from Virginia. But NO! No others taste like these. Trust me, I know.

I have been buying these peanuts for over ten years and there was a significant decline in quality of both the peanuts and the packaging in this past year. The new plastic lid (used to be a snap in metal lid) does not keep the peanuts nearly as fresh and the peanuts were smaller and not as high quality. The peanut quality may have just been due to a bad season but the packaging change makes a big difference in long term quality. In the past I would highly recommend these to everyone but no more.

I always bought the P&H peanuts because of the taste and they were nice and large. I was quite disappointed to open the container to find normal sized peanuts. The size and taste made the extra cost worth it, but at this size I might as well but the less pricey peanuts at the grocery store.

I love the unsalted peanuts. I keep them in the nut dispenser I purchased from you folks. When I get a few hunger pangs, the small amount of peanuts dispensed carries me over. If I were to reach inside a bowl or bag of peanuts I would take way too much, a normal thing.
