Indoor/Outdoor Talavera-Inspired Tulip Rug

I don't usually write reviews, and as I just received, so it is definately premature to give a 5 star rating. I am only doing this as I almost didn't order based on the limited reviews present and didn't want someone else to be in the same boat. I think this rug is great! The colors are beautiful! Every bit as beautiful as it appears in the catalog. I was concerned that an indoor/outdoor rug might feel 'plastic-y', like astro turf, but definately NOT the case, it has a very nice pile and texture. I was also concerned about whether it would lay flat based on shipping method and customer comments saying it did not, but I have to say, this was NOT a concern. Within minutes of unwrapping the rug, it was laying very flat. I am using under a roof, in a porch area with floor to ceiling screened walls, and do plan to take care in severe weather to move so that it does not become saturated, as the pile does not strike me as one that would dry out easily following a heavy soaking. Yet to be determined how well this will wear and hold up to late afternoon sun - but at this point I am VERY pleased with this purchase and optimistic that I will not have any regrets.

The rug is described at "outdoor". However, when you get the rug, it states you should bring it in in severe weather. I purchased 2 of these rugs. They get soaked with rain and, even with rug pads, they do not dry out. You cannot lift them when they are wet and they take forever to dry. One must only put them out on what you think might be a nice day. not recommended for outdoor use.

These rugs are going on my covered front portch area - they add a lot of color to the front of my house and I know the pop of color will be a good way to decorate around a bistro table and nice metal artwork - Nice to have a new room to decorate - outside!!
