Purchased for my granddaughter for Christmas because she has & loves her pygmy hedgehogs. I feel she will hang it in her room instead of the Christmas tree. It is so detailed and unique... extremely well constructed! I purchased one for myself, as well, being I too have a pygmy hedgehog that she gifted me from her first litter. Finding unique hedgehog gifts that are so authentic is rare...absolutely love this and I'm anxious to see her reaction!! Thank you :-)

This is a gift for my daughter-in-law who has a pet hedgehog. It is a cute ornament and the pewter will show up on the tree. I really like the ornament and I think she will too. I also like that a tree will be planted for each ornament purchased. That's one reason I chose the pewter hedgehog ornament rather than the wooden one.

This was one of my Christmas gifts to my daughter, mostly as a joke. She had sent me a hedgehog ornament the year before, and now the hedgehog wars are on!
It was very attractive and rich looking and perfect for her tree which she decorates with crystal and silver tone ornaments. Also, the fact that the purchase helped support a Green Project was appropriate because most of my gifts were in a green theme last year.

I bought many of the pewter ornaments offered at Plow and Hearth, but this one was absolutely the cutest! The theme for our Christmas Eve dinner was "A Woodland Christmas" and these charming ornaments made perfect party favors. They were all a big hit!
