About Me Midrange Shopper
Comments about Plowhearth Tension Rods:
We used this rod with the rod joiner to use in a larger area, it broke while mounting. We had to purchase longer threaded tubes to make this strong enough to use. Very dissappointed after the price spent.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Budget Shopper
Does the job and I'm satisfied with my purchase however, the center supports and connectors do not allow enough clearance if using grommet curtains.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Very nice rod would tell others to buy.

I am using this on a screened in porch. So far the product has proven to be wonderful. Attractive, sturdy and easy to install. I am using two with a joiner and have a set of outdoor panels on the rod. Very happy with product.

Holds curtains well. Does not fall down in high winds on my porch.

With a masonry bit, it was easy to install the center hook. However, the hook is short and places the rod so close to the surface above it, that the grommet topped drape doesn't move easily on the rod.
