I love this cupboard. I'm using in my dining room and it is perfect to store all the extra dishes and such. The finish is great and it arrived well packaged. I want to purchase another for my guest bedroom!

The linen closet arrived last week and it is still sitting in my garage "airing out" as it had a very strong smell of "just being painted." It is really a lovely cabinet, much smaller than I had anticipated from the photograph, so it is more adaptable and has more possibilities for use in various rooms. The item was packaged quite well with layers of bubble wrap which gave it great protection. It had one small paint chip, but P&H is sending a bottle of paint for touch ups. I am looking forward to using the cabinet--there are plenty of shelves which are adjustable, so it will be adequate for linens or as an extra storage center. One suggestion: the door panels should perhaps be inverted, putting the knob at least at above waist level. This is a really lovely addition to our home.

We have had ours for about 1 year. We have the Cottage White with a distressed finish.

We use it to store our kids board games in. It is the right height and size for that.

The first one we received was broken when we opened it. The doors were broken off of the bottom set of hinges. Fortunately we live near a P&H store front and the return went well but it took a long time to get the new one. The new one arrived with no damage but over time there have been streaks of yellow bleeding through the finish, I assume it is from the knots etc. from the wood. I guess it adds character but I would have preferred if the cabinet had stayed the same color.

Would have been beautiful first time around. Finish was perfect, loved color. Distressing to my tastes, BUT huge hole in back due to damage in delivery. When the problem was addressed, they said the would make another. But when we received the new one you could tell that it had been rushed. The finish was hardly distressed, the hardware could be seen and still in back some staples were mishapped,not even anchored wood-to-wood! My fault for accepting it i guess . But i have never bought another piece of furniture from Plow N Hearth, weather they made it or not. Bought mine in 2007-or 08

Purchased this piece for the bedroom in a seasonal cottage, and love it. Very well made. Plenty of room for summer clothes and linens. I also have the Jelly Cupboard which I love.

it exceeded my expectations so much that I have ordered a second one...

We urgently needed storage and this piece was the best looking of its kind, anywhere on web. I felt confident in quality because of Plow and Hearth's good reputation. But the faux distress marks were poorly executed--they look like someone banged the heck out of the boards, and painted over them. The color also was a disappointment-antique white has a definite yellow cast which is different than how it appeared on my color-balanced and calibrated monitor. Return of these large cupboards was also problematic-P & W wanted both units re-packaged and returned, and they couldn't reassure us that replacements would look any different. We kept them in the end because the cupboards are sturdy and style works with our modern decor. And P & H rebated a portion back to us.
