Hand-Knitted Pouf Ottoman

Sturdy, but lightweight, very cute!

I wanted these as decorative pieces, but also for extra seating for my children in our family room. I ordered two of the orange. While the color and texture are great, the two poufs are very different shapes- so much so that I do not keep them side by side, as intended. They are much flatter than shown in the photo and the more that my children sit on them, the flatter they become, even after only a few weeks of sporadic use. Sad because if they looked and functioned as they were supposed to, they would be perfect for what I need.

Very pleased with this product. Gorgeous color and well constructed!

The red pouf is fabulous (see my other review). Sadly, the olive pouf is not. It's 13" high (vs. 15" for the red), and 60" around (vs. 67" for the red). The top is flat but the bottom is not, making it wobbly and therefore useless as an end table or "snack table." I guess it could still be used as seating by a young person, as it is quite firm. FYI, the color isn't olive; it's a lovely sage green. I returned it and received a 2nd one which is also small and wobbly. Am hoping the 3rd one will be better. If I receive a large "olive" pouf that is flat on top and bottom, I will be thrilled. It is an interesting and unusual piece, and adds a lot of character to the room. I would give it 5 stars if it were larger and stable.

This red pouf is fabulous! I bought it for our Southwestern-themed family room and it really packs a punch, design-wise as well as function-wise. It's 67" around and 15" high, a nice, true red. It's much more solid than I thought it would be; the exterior is made of rope, not yarn, and has a dyed-to-match cotton "bag" inside that holds the filler material. It is flat on top and bottom so it is stable; you can put a plate of food on it, or a book, or of course, your feet. It can be used for seating but I'd like to keep folks off it, so it won't smush over time. It's quite unusual and a definite attention-getter. Now if the other colors would just be as good...(see my review on the olive pouf).

If not for the color issue, this is a very nice piece. The rope texture warms up a room, much like a basket weave. But the beige has a strong gold cast and does not match the picture at all. If you want a golden wheat color, darker than picture shown, you might like it.

this ottoman looks awesome in my babies nursery. The orange is a great color. The only issue I had with this, is it was delivered in a box, no wrapping, no protection, and it smelled like a basement. I had to spray it down with lysol and vacuum all the box particles off of it.

The pouf ottoman is both beautiful and sturdy. Everyone comments on it and asks where I got it. I recommend this to others.

I bought two of them orange and biege color. They arrived in 3 days. Packaging wasn't the best, one of the boxes was half open. But the poufs inside were totally fine - clean and new. Colors are matching pretty much what they are on the pictures. These poufs are an excellent choice for people looking for extra seating, smaller table or for the interior decor touch. Very high quality. I haven't used them much yet, but they feel really solid. Keep in mind that these are not super soft and comfy 'bean bag" kinda chairs. These poufs are pretty firm and they don't bend much if you seat on them. The knitted cover is also not made from the cashmere wool softness, as you might think looking at the picture. It's made from some kind of ropes. But I expected these to be firm because I found am image on cb2 website where it shows a woman seating on it and the chair doesn't look soft at all. I personally find it more as a pros because it will last longer and will not get flat or worn out over time. Plus you can really use it as a small table for a cup or a tray. Overall, I am very happy I got these poufs and I hope they will last.

A great ottoman for the family room. Adds a splash of needed color! Very comfortable. Arrived quickly.
