These tools are substantial but light enough to use comfortably. Assembly of the stand was easy.

I am using this mainly as a decoration to make my gas log fireplace look authentic and it does a good job. Now if they made a nice sounding fire sounding gadget, that works that is, no one would be able to tell the difference. I so love a nice realistic fire and my new gas logs accomplish this.

Goes well with the black fireplace screen we ordered years ago from P & H. Handles the big logs we sometime use in our fireplace. No separate handles to come unscrewed. Very satisfied with set.

I ordered the tall set and am happy I did because our last set was too short and this set works great. The quality is very sturdy and has a rustic design.

This fireplace tool set is a simple, classic design with a smooth finish (I ordered the black). The stand is sturdy and was easy to put together with the allen wrench provided. The shorter height is perfect for my raised hearth. It's exactly what I was looking for.

We use for winter fireplace needs; we just recived recently, & already, it is performing well, feels solid, w/sturdy joints. The stand was fairly easy to put together..all parts there, but needed x-tra "hand." It would be nice if the "broom tool" was fuller. Overall, quite nice.
