I bought the cat for our home. Our 2 year old granddaughter loves to sit on it. She has claimed it as hers. I also bought the dog for our granddaughter for christmas, she gets to take it home. I know she and her parents will love it. They are very sturdy, very well made.

This fox stool is adorable, but the artwork on all 3 I've received has been sub-standard. The first stool had sloppy woodstaining and a sloppy paint job. The 2nd stool had 3 thin cracks on the right side, above the fox's ear. The 3rd stool had one crack in the same place; it was filled with wood filler, which chipped off. The P&H staff have been helpful with exchanges and I am hoping that fox stool # 4 will be perfect. It is a nice, solid piece (solid legs and balance) and is very cute. Perfect for small behinds, to hold a book or a plant, or just as an attractive piece by the fireplace. Perhaps the fox design has an inherent flaw in that one area, and the other animal/flower stools are in better shape, as they have had glowing reviews. Bottom line on the fox: a good idea but attention needs to be paid to the details.

Very sturdy and excellent workmanship. However, dimensions for the fox differ from the dog and cat (fox is smaller and not as tall); I didn't read carefully enough, and had to return the fox for a dog so the kids wouldn't pout over getting the "little stool."
