Placed the product in the yard. One wheel spins, the other is out of balance so has difficulty spinning. Globe does not glow at night.

The globe doesn't really glow, but the spinners are so interesting and pretty when even a light wind is blowing that it is still a great garden decoration. We're at the beginning of its third season, and its stake has started to give out - we're going to have to strengthen it somehow. We have gotten tons of positive comments on how eye-catching and pretty it is.

The spinner spins just fine but the globe in the center doesn't glow. It is still a treat to watch and the globe in the center still looks cool.

Contrary to some of the reviews, this spinner worked beautifully the first day we put it in our yard. It was spinning so fast I thought for sure it was going take off! Be sure the sections are tightly screwed together - ours weren't and the spinner started to unscrew itself from the strong winds. It is as attractive completely still as it is when it is spinning. Although the globe glow is very subtle, the copper tone is a wonderful accent in my garden. Love, love, love it. I highly recommend this item.

I have the spinner upstairs on the deck where it gets the most wind, and it works great! After the first strong sustained wind, I found the globe downstairs by the pool broken. Other than that, I love it.
It was out of stock so delivery took a month.

We have added it to a focal spot in our yard, near our fountain. We live in a foothill area where there is often a lot of wind, and it works perfectly and is definitely an eye catcher.

Like other reviewers I did have to adjust the spoons to ensure the wind "catches" for spinning. But it was easy to do and needed only light, slight adjustment. It is visually unique and when it spins it is mesmerizing due to the spinners being reversed. It does glow but only slightly and for a short period after dark. But the globe is still beautiful and makes the spinner.

My main con is the connection joint between the double legged stake and the post - it is really flimsy and insufficient to hold in strong winds. I live in Minnesota and we have had an exceptionally windy spring. The whirligig would bend at the joint because the threading wasn't long enough to hold the piece together. My husband fixed it with a hose clamp - unslightly fix but it's hidden by the greenery in garden where it sits.

After reading reviews stating it would not spin or needed adjustment to spin- I was a little concerned but knew P&H only carried quality items- so purchased anyway.The directions state clearly to place in an area that receives consistant breezes. I moved the spinner twice and found a great spot where it spins easily and smoothly. Keep in mind- the "perfect spot" visually may not have the right air movement- so be open to possibilities! It looks great just about anywhere so you should not have a problem- spinning or still! I love it and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes a sculptural addition to their garden. I will send this for gifts to friends!

I purchased this product a several weeks ago. After reading the reviews, I worried that it would not spin. As the wind blows it never stops spinning. Rememember, for it to spin it must be placed in the correct area of your garden and yard. I love it, however, I have yet to see it glow, but it doesn't matter.

I bought this same item elsewhere for much less. I do enjoy it but the wind does have to be fairly strong to make it swirl. You have to be right on top of it to see it glow on the greenish swirl only and then it is still very faint. Glad I didn't buy it at the higher price. It is atrractive in the garden.

I had this item one day, one of the spinners broke off and the ball fell off. My neighbor attempted to put JB Weld on it and it did not hold. The top(of what is left) keeps falling off when spinning! Huge waste of my hard earned money!

Very pretty and interesting addition to the garden. It isnt as large as I thought it was, but then again, I didnt read the size, it also requires a good windy day to get it to turn, but even when not turning its a great addition to draw your eye to the garden

Pretty, but the spinning wheels are unbalanced and do not spin unless there is a pretty stiff wind; then it will spin but the whole thing wobbles even though it is securely staked in the ground. I've seen other wind sculptures that move with the slightest breeze but not this one. Also if the globe glows, it is too faint to see. But it is pretty in the sunshine.

the bulb that is suppose to glow after being in the sunlight all day , didn't work, the bulb is crooked on the sphere.

Very attractive, unusual garden art; ball in center is supposed to glow at night, but it does not. We have other LED garden lights that do work, so this one is likely defective. But, it is pretty anyway.

I ordered one for me and then turned around and ordered two more for gifts. Love to watch the spinners....very relaxing. Only disappointment is the ball at night but not enough to return or be unhappy.

This is a great item for the garden. Fun to watch the spinners go in opposite directions. However, I have yet to see the glow from the Glow in the dark globe.
