This stays out on my counter with our favorite snack of almonds. We can get a handful whenever we want. Our family & friends love it too. Have used it with candy and other nuts too. They make a great gift for family &friends too!

I originally bought this item as a gift for some members of the family who are huge football fans (football finial purchased also). I received such rave reviews that I decided to purchase several more. The item works nicely with all sorts of snacks like choc. or yogurt covered raisins, trail mix, cinnamon heart candy, M & M's, etc. I have since given several more as gifts and everyone I give them to just loves them. I think the quality is fitting for the price...you must handle the globe carefully though...it could break easily if dropped or hit against something. These make fun gifts for adults but I am not sure they are sturdy enough for a child and they could break if not handled gently! I am very pleased with my purchase of this item.

Bought this item for my husband who loves to snack on peanuts while watching a movie. It is easy to use. It dispenses peanuts easily, which was a concern because peanuts are pretty large. It sits in the living room area and now all family members have easy access to the snack. He loves it! I just wish the dispenser was bigger.

I had been looking for the candy dispenser for over a year. It was a gift and now stands right out where all can see it while the former one was always slightly hidden. We'll have to do a better job at keeping this one filled.

It sits on our bar and and our guests think it's alot of fun. Like that people don't have to put their hands into the peanuts to get the peanuts. The dispenser is somewhat difficult to fill - would be nice to have a funnel shipped with the dispenser.

We bought this item as a gift to the couple that has everything and likes the unusual. The design is attractive, the base is heavy and made well. The drawback is that when I shipped the item, the glass globe broke. The glass is very, very, very thin. I am hoping I can find a replacement globe since I ended up re-ordering for our friends and have the broken item at my house. I would not recommend this item to be used by children because of how delicate the glass is. The globe holds a nice amount of candy or nuts. The opening is small so gourmet nuts don't work. Peanuts and M&M's are the best items to fill the globe with.

I loved the idea of this candy dispenser! I like the size of it. It looks like it wouldn't hold much but it actually holds a very good amount. You have to be careful with it though, because it is lightweight and some of it is actually plastic, not metal. The glass globe is very thin. The first one I ordered had several bubbles in it so I got another which was better. Overall, I like the way it looks and am happy I bought it, I just need to be careful with it.

Love the look of the dispenser, it is just not very high quality. Some of the unit is painted plastic and the glass on the globe is thin. But, it is cute and is functional.

Large pieces (some nuts) will not fit through the opening. The dispenser is inconvenient and it is easy to overfill your hand. Don't think young children could use this.

I have given this product as a gift to my husband and to my father in law. They use them to dispense nuts, and the mechanism works perfectly every time. Instead of having an uncovered bowl of pistachios on the kitchen counter, we have an attractive container. It is large enough so that it doesn't have to refilled all the time. My father in law liked his so well, that he ordered another for a friend.
