If you truly compost and want to fill up a crock liner, buy a container without the contoured shape. This crock is beautiful, but once the liner bag fills up, it is too big to lift out easily past the narrower top opening. It is a messy struggle.

I have used the compost crock for several years. I order the charcoal filters periodically when I run out. It makes it so easy to compost when I have the crock pot on the counter, and it is very attractive.

I've been composting for a long time and find this the best and most attractive way to collect the scraps. Personally, I don't think the one I received looks nearly as good as the one in the picture.

The bags are very fragile and often break, but the crock itself is wondrful!

The biodegradable bags don't work as well as I would have liked: when removing bag of foods they often break,they split easily when removing from roll, difficult to remove from the crock with the narrowing of the neck. So, I use store bags and throw them out after dumping in my compost bin. The crock is beautiful however and we enjoy using it! Just don't buy the bags.

Have looked for this type counter top composter for a couple of years. A friend found this one and got it for me. It looks great on the counter and will let me keep all that good stuff for the garden! Couldn't be happier!

Great way to add nutrients to your garden through out the long Northeast winters. Design keeps the smells inside the crock and when used with the liner, very easy to keep clean. Very glad I purchased this item.

I was just a bit disappointed when opening to check for any breaks since this is a gift and found that the color does not match the picture at all. The glaze that shows in the picture is supposed to be a light blueish white. My crock has a medium blue glaze and then the bottom is more teal in color. Still beautiful and great quality as expected. I bought this for my husband to try to eliminate the collection of unsitely cans and/or containers that tend to accumilate on my countertop for his compost. This crock is beautiful and I can't wait to give it to my husband for Christmas. I would definitely buy again and refer to others. One very satisfied customer!!
