I never go outside to do an lawn work that I don't use the boots. I can't imagine how I got along without them. I live in deer country with lots of Ticks so they are a must. I also think they are very reasonably priced and of good quality. I use mine all the time and they still look like new. Easy to clean.

I ordered them in yellow and was very disappointed when I opened the box. In the picture they appear to be a vibrant, bright yellow, but the ones I got were a very pale, pallid yellow. Other than that they seem fine, can't say a lot about durability because I never wore them, but they seem like nice rain/garden boots to me! I'm just a bright colors girl.PS I called customer service and got a real person on the phone right away, who was super friendly and helpful and got me a full refund! Although these boots are not what I was hoping for, I really appreciate the truth of their satisfaction guarantee and I'll definitely shop here again :)

Small Calf Opening
Comments about Plowhearth Garden Boots:
Loved the colors - ordered a size 6 (I'm 5'4 / 110lbs, relatively small person). Noticed the calf was snug going on, but thought maybe it'd be ok. Took me nearly 10 minutes to pry these boots back off my legs. I wish I was exaggerating. These boots, at least the small sizes, have very narrow openings. Needless to say, these are being returned. Bummed.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Boots not big enough on top
from Middlebury, VT
When I saw the picture i thought, "Great! these boots look perfect!" And because I have a big foot, I was happy to see that the boots didn't seem any different from mens to womens. I'm not actually sure if this is true or not but the picture lies. In the picture, the boots look shiny and polished. when my boots came in the box they seemed dull and were sort of covered in a white powderish thing. Besides that; at the top of the boot where it hits your calf, the boot was too narrow to fit. The boot would work if you had really skinny calves but other wise I would look for something else. Needless to say, I returned the boots the next day.

About Me Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper, Stylish
I live in Oregon where it rains a lot. Bright colored rain boots are fun and do the job when I am walking my puppy, raking leaves or taking a trip to the grocery store. These boots are comfortable and stylish and have left the house on my feet on many a wet and stormy day. I always get compliments on how cute they are and asked where I bought them... I have them in three colors.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Good service for a bad fit

9 too small and 10 too big. Service was great, however, and they seemed to be quality boots - too bad!

The boots do what is required of them, the price was reasonable and I'm told they look cute, too. What more could a girl want? They are true to size without the fleece liner.

The only improvement would be to offer them in more raincoat shades like Khaki and black. The best part is that they are all one piece...no leaky places!

If they made these in patent leather, I'd wear them to work and all around. These boots are really comfortable and easy to wear when you're working in the garden or doing work outside when it's wet. The only criticism is that the insoles were shredded after a few uses. Also, if you could make them more breathable somehow for summer, that would make them the IDEAL year-round shoe for farming, gardening, etc.

Thought I had found a replacement for my Wellies, but disappointed with the fit. The upper part of boot is too tight around pant legs (blue jeans), where my prior two pair of boots had a looser fit that didn't bind my jeans (it's not my legs, it's the boot!) I'm hoping as they get older and worn that they'll loosen up, but I'm already looking for another pair because I really don't like these.
Wish I'd had these years ago!
If you've never owned gardening boots and hate water, ants, dirt, or sand in your shoes when doing outdoor projects then order a pair of these boots. You'll never work in the garden again without them. The yellow color does show stains quickly (red clay soil has stained mine an orange color), but they're mainly for function so I don't care too much. Sizing is accurate and plow and hearth is pleasant to order from. A great buy that I think will last me years.

I was anxiously waiting for my boots, however after 1 month of wearing the left boot split just in front of my arch. So much for being water proof at this time. I was very unhappy. I paid [$] for them I guess 1 month was my monies worth. I'm sorry they did not work out, I was going to order 1 in each color.
I definitly would buy this produce again

I initially wore them cleaning roadsides when walking in and out of ditches and tall grass. In that process I walked a mile of roadside and my feet were very comfortable and protected from wetness as well as any sharp objects. At home they are excellent working in and around flower beds and wooded areas during wet conditions.
Very warm, but the seam lines up wierd on your feet so it can be alittle uncomfortable if not adjusted right. but for someone with poor circulation in their feet, they are wonderful!

Everything was perfect with the boots except for the faded red color. It did not look like the catalog picture. However, the yellow color worked good.

I wear these boots in the garden every day. They provide great traction on wet and/or muddy groud.
