Fully Adjustable Five-Position Multiangle Chair

Just bought two of the red chairs and am enjoying them for extra TV watching. They can be stored open and flat or doubled over. Probably good to take with you for bleachers or camping too.

Red color is a dark brick red...perfect!!! I may get more!!!

Bought this for lounging in front of the fireplace. My husband and I are tall, so wish the backrest was a bit higher. Agree with other reviewers that the color "taupe" is not as pictured. The chair is much darker than what most would consider taupe to be. But it's comfy enough for its purpose and seems sturdy. Price was reasonable.

I bought these for those times that I need a little extra seating or I feel like sitting on the floor. Works perfectly, very comfortable and easily stored when not using. Price was very reasonable.

Some chairs at outings, aren't the most comfortable...so we take our adjustable chair to ball games, the auto races and bingo,etc

Bought 2 of these chairs for my kids for playing games on the floor, watching tv and just hanging out. They LOVE them! We played games on Christmas day and very comfortable. They fold flat for storage (behind couch). One of my kids has already asked for one to take to college next year. Will be a great addition to her dorm room. Might also be a grad gift idea for her friends.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 9-year-old. He watches TV sprawled either on the bare wood floor, or leaning on the sofa, and it looked so uncomfortable to me. I knew he would use it, but was concerned that he wouldn't be thrilled with this purchase, as it wasn't a toy. I shouldn't have worried. He absolutely loves it! Now I wish I had bought one more!

Taupe is much darker than pictured in catalog. Chairs are narrower than the ones we purchased around 10 years ago, from this same company. The padding seems to be sufficient. The different positions are easily clicked into place, as long as you fully straighten out the chair (flat) before you attempt them. Only two complaints, so far, are that color is misrepresented, and chair is too narrow and needs to be wider to increase comfort. I have doubts that they will last as long as the chairs they made 10 years ago.G-

I had been looking for overflow seating when the grandkids come up for a movie night. I don't have a lot of room to store things away so banana chairs where out of the question. I think these are just the thing for the little ones. very nicely made, compact, and nice cushioning. Probably not really supportive enough for most adults though.

I ordered a taupe colored chair, box it arrived in says taupe, but chair is green.

Bought this chair to use near fireplace, if someone wanted to sit on floor. Nice back support. Our family members are average weight (max 200lb). Easy to fold. I store it in the closet when not in use. I only wish it would fold closed so it would take less room in the closet. I have to store it totally opened straight. Comfortable !

I am so impressed with this seat; I didn't expect it to be as solid as it is. The adjustable back is like the banana lounge chairs on the patio and easily adjustable. Sturdy. Strong. Most excellent product.

I bought the red, brown and tan for my living room. They are a compact way to add additional seating. All ages in my family use them to watch movies, play games, read and just hang out. They seem very durable. So far I have no negative comments. I don't love the tan color with my space so I'll probably return this one. For a living room with neutral colors, it would be great. I might even gift it to a friend.

My wife bought one of these for me about 5 years ago as I just love to be on the floor when watching TV. After 5 plus years of daily usage, it finally gave up the ghost on Wednesday when the ratcheting broke. My wife suggested to see if Plow & Hearth still sold these chairs and when I went on your website…behold there they were. I placed the order on Wednesday evening (9-12-12) and it arrived this afternoon (9-14-12). One thing I noticed about the new chair is that it is much more padded and I'm sure it will be even more comfortable than my old one. So this 71 year old guy is good to go for another 5 or more years of comfortable floor TV watching. Great product Plow & Hearth.

I got tired of buying bean bags chairs every 2 two years at the price of over one hundred dollars. So I thought I would try these chairs, my girls ages 10 & 8 love them. They are comfortable and they love the adjustable back. I have always been pleased with plow and hearth, such a good company.

Love these portable chairs. Our grand children think they're the best thing for sitting around on the floor and watching movies. Chairs are very comfortable, easily adjustable, and easy to stash away. We sit around a low coffee table and play cards with the grand children and these portable chairs offer great support for backs, and they're quite comfortable. I have two and will order a couple more.

I use it to play with my kid on the floor. It gives me back support.

I have four of these and just love them! We use them as a family all the time in front of our fireplace or watching a football game. We have a Bible study in our home and they provide extra seating for the children or adults. Laying flat, they also provide a great napping place for the children. Great buy!

We just got two of these chairs last night and I have a few complaints.

When I lean back on them, they feel a bit wobbly - I'm concerned with use they won't support my weight. When I recline to a 45-degree angle or lower, the chair teeters over so that my back is almost on the floor and my legs are dangling in the air. If there's supposed to be a definite "back" and "bottom" to this chair, I can't tell and it came with no instructions. We've had some difficulty getting the various angles to happen.

On the other hand, if I use it in the 90-degree angle, it seems to be comfortable enough, provided I don't lean too hard on the back. Also, it's very light, the cushion is nice, and the metal frame doesn't creak or grind.
