Fold-Out Ottoman Sleeper Bed

I bought 4 of these to use as extra sleeping space in 2 nightly rental units. The first thing that happen was the wheels either coming off and getting lost or being irreparably damaged. I had to hire a handyman to create a solution since replacement parts were not available nor would they have been practical. The tie tabs on the mattress cannot be used when the ottoman is folded up as they do not aligned with the frame, and it is awkward to attach them once the unit is open (no renter is going to bother with this). The microfiber cover is not slippery enough to go on and off easily so a couple of the covers have gotten lost. Having said all this, they do take up very little floor space (convenient for rental units that need to use these only sporadically), they are reasonably comfortable for a small person (too narrow for large adults), and the frames have held up (probably kids have jumped on them). So I would recommend them for private home use--they just haven't worked out as well as I had hoped for my rental units.

I bought this sleeper/ottoman in order to have somewhere to sleep when visiting my Parents in their new, very much downsized apartment. I was thrilled to discover that when converted into a bed it is truly comfortable. My Folks love using it as an ottoman when I'm not there and I love having a decent bed to sleep in when I am visiting. A very successful purchase!

We use the ottoman as an ottoman unless needed for a friend to use as a sleep-over bed. I like the fact that is has wheels and it takes up very little floor space when it is folded as an ottoman. Our friend states that the bedding pads are just a little too firm. We plan to buy a memory foam mattress topper for it.

We like the double use.

The mattress pads are very stiff foam that makes a crunchy sound. They came with Velcro straps sewn to the removable covers that don't line up to each other in order to fasten to the frame, and instructions provided were just a picture of how to unfold the frame. It is usable for what I need but will require another pad on top of it once unfolded so someone can actually sleep on it.
