Not very easy to work with

Both uprights have metal spurs that have to be ground away before parts will fit together. On one upright the hole for screws have been drilled in the wrong place. Requires some wrangling to get it together.

I purchased this to use on our porch for the chair swing I bought as I did not have a support beam to hang it directly. It is very sturdy and was easy to adjust for the most comfortable height. Allows me to position the swing in different locations which is nice. I almost did not buy it because of the one negative review posted about it but I have not encountered any of the issues in that review and am pleased with the product.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great indoors or out
Granddaughter uses for pod swing inside. A great reading chair! The frame is very solid and very well made. A very nice design. It is pretty big for a room with regular height ceilings, but perfect for high ceilings, a porch, or outside pod swing.
