I bought three of the garlands to hang outside. I did not realize they were for indoor use only since it's not clearly stated. Sooo, I hung them indoors around my entry door. The timers never worked properly. The lights kept coming on earlier and earlier until I decided to just turn them on manually. One of the garlands kept getting dimmer and by week two it had gone out completely. I returned it to the store and they were kind enough to replace it. They are very attractive, but definitely not worth all the trouble. I would not recommend them at all.

The greenery is nice and I was excited when I received it and everything seemed to work especially after reading some of the reviews. But after less than a week the lights no longer work due to poor wiring. This product is really not worth the money. The lights won't turn on and if they do after some jiggling , they won't stay on.

Plow and Hearth makes great garlands that last. I love the idea of not having cords all over the place and the ease of the 24 hour timer, which works flawlessly. It has several different textures - which separates it from the box store garlands for sale. It takes 6 AA batteries - the battery box is cumbersome but can be hidden. The small red berries are fragile - and there was a lead warning that came with the item reminding you to wash your hands after handling - a bit disconcerting but manageable. All in all a great piece I intend to enjoy for years to come. Thank You Plow and Hearth.

We used the wreath last year on our front door, which is well protected from the elements due to our large porch. It looked very elegant, and we did not have to worry about unsightly cords!! Hopefully, it will provide the same pleasure this year.

I was very disappointed in this garland. The lights are very dim. Most of the time they didn't come on when they were supposded to. We ended up putting three pieces of this garland together just so they would show up. Would love to send them back. They look nothing like the picture.

THIS IS PERFECT FOR INDOORS. HOWEVER - THE LINE (I ALSO PURCHASED THE TEAR DROP!) - DOES NOT STATE "INDOORS ONLY" IN THE DESCRIPTION. IT ONLY SHOW UP TUCKED AWAY SOMEWHERE IN THE PACKAGING!! IT CANNOT BE USED OUTSIDE. OTHERWISE - VERY NICE

I was surprised that the other reviewers were not as super pleased as I was! I bought two of the garlands because our mantel is huge, and it was so nice to have the batteries since even though the mantel has outlets, I didn't have to worry about what cord reached where. The batteries are a much better idea since often you buy these and you can't plug them together, need an extension cord, etc... Our timer seemed to be fine...but if they went off when I wanted them on I just hit the switches and they went on again..The look is really good..full, good colors, good amount of lights. I've looked at a lot of garlands from other high end retailers and seriously, these were terrific. Got great comments on it from family and visitors!

The instructions tell you how to set the timer. There is no timer. The lights come on as soon as you put the batteries in. The only way to change the time that the lights come on, is to remove the batteries and re-install them. An on/off switch would be great. The product looks nice, and it is very handy for areas that don't have electric outlets hands.
