Great looking, easy assembly, good wood. Stakes supplied to secure arbor are inadequate. Result is a flimsy shaky arbor. I tried longer stakes- didn't work. My cure was to bury 4 x 4 posts in the ground and screw the arbor into the posts. Check the pictures.

The arbor I ordered is just what I wanted. Plow and Hearth sells only quality items.
Delivery was quick and efficient. Being able to track it's arrival was interesting to
Me as I am not a computer person. The system P & H uses, made using the
Computer easy for me to order, and track. Assembling the arbor was easy and directions were easy to follow.

Quality is fair. I am replacing something similar and the construction is of lesser quality than the one I had. I could not find anything else to fit the same space. We will see how it holds up to northern winters. But it is a very nice design!

We use this arbor as an entryway to our garden. It looks beautiful but... it is very flimsy. [...]The second time it arrived, we installed the next day only to find it cracked again a day later! We also have a windy lot and the arbor has fallen over several times. We will have to secure with a post or quickcrete to stabilize it.

We are using the arbor as a garden gate, it was easy to assemble, well made and planned out. We have a somewhat harsh, dry climate in Colorado, the wood is from humid Asia, so I've had to make a lot of use of mending plates where the wood has dried and cracked. We like the design and wish to keep the gate/arbor so I'm repairing it as needed.

This beautiful arbor really stands out in our backyard. We took our gate out and replaced it with this arbor w/ a gate which was a great improvement. Easy assembly and installation. Hopefully it will last a long time. We would buy another one if we had to.

Beautiful design but a bit flimsy; not sure how well it will weather. Only negative is the hardware quality (screws strip out, etc) but the overall quality is average or somewhat better.
