First let me say that this was a replacement for a heater we had bought 2 1/2 years ago. When it quit working, I contacted Plow and Hearth to see how I could go about having it fixed. They immediately replied that they would replace it free of charge and within a week it had been delivered to my door! We love these little heaters as they keep a room toasty warm, look pretty and don't run up the electric bill. Add to that the great service and what more could you ask.

Having a corner cabinet built and wanted a small fireplace in the center of the cabinet. This will fit in great for looks and warmth. First stove we received quit after a few days but had no hassle of returning it and receiving another. Very pleased with the company.

We use this in our master bedroom as supplemental heat as it is the coldest room in our home. I had to repair the metal rod with the aluminumn foil strips as it fell out of the track during shipping. It would be nice if it put out just a little more heat.

We have had our Electric Stove for over 3 years. The lightbulb inside just burned out and the customer service representative explained how easy it is to replace- did it in less than a minute. Our family (young teens and dog) love to sit in a floor chair in front of this heater so much, we always take turns "getting the heater"- except for the dog of course who horns in all the time. We even use it early summer mornings to sit and read while sipping coffee. It's well-built, attractive, whisper quiet and the "flames" are soothing. I never dreamed I would like an electric stove so much- always thought they were too fake looking. The ONLY con is that you really shouldn't expect it to heat a room- just the immediate space around the front of the heater.

This space heater warms up my bedroom on cold nights and is easily turned off before I go to sleep. My cat is fascinated by the flames and loves the warmth. My husband didn't complain and the red is really maroon which matches some colors I used in the room.

Always wanted a fireplace in my bedroom. This is perfect. I ordered the red--WOW! The first one had a defect in the heating portion. P & H took care of it and shipped me a new one that works. I have used it to warm up the room and then switch over to the realistic flame. I am so pleased with it plus the price is fantastic.

My Mother and Father in law bought this heater for us 2 years ago for Christmas. We use it in our livingroom. We love it!! The kids love it, and our dogs really love it! Well after 2 years one of the switches went out, then it started smelling like wires burning. My mother n law contacted P and H. They told us to throw out that stove and sent us a brand new one within the week! This is a great company.. I will be buying more stuff from them. Thank you Plow and Hearth!!

I absolutely love this electric fireplace. It is attractive and heats my bedroom up very fast. The flames are nice to watch. Okay, so it's not a real wood stove, but after have one for years, this has no clean up and adds ambiance to my bedroom. Love it.

I was pleasantly surprised. This is the best heater of it's type available. After reading some of the reviews about plastic components I was a little worried but the sides and top are metal. The plastic elements blend well and overall it looks like a cast iron stove.

Love everything about this heater except the lack of a thermostat. Once the room is sufficiently warm, you have to get up and turn it off, then get up again to turn it on to continue heating the room. As a supplemental heating unit it's odd that it doesn't have a thermostat. It's a significant design flaw.

We bought this for our daughter and husband who live in an old apartment in the Bay area. It looks great, very efficiently heats a cold damp space and is safe for their little dog who loves to lie in front of it. When they moved to a new apartment, it was easy to pack it up and transport it by car. The flame is charmingly mesmerizing to watch. Couldn't be a better product; it's a terrific value, and I am thinking about getting one for my nephews.

I bought one of these for our breakfast room several years ago. We liked it very much but then the "flame" stopped working, so I contacted Plow and Hearth, and they shipped us a new one. The new one is smaller and not quite the same quality as the first one (for which I paid $300), but it works and is cute.
Our oldest son, who is in the Coast Guard and stationed on the east coast, needed a supplemental heat source for his little rental cottage, and he liked our P and H red electric stove, so he ordered one for himself. He loved it and it made a big difference in his drafty little place. Then Hurricane Sandy hit and he lost everything, including his electric stove. He's hoping they go on sale again soon because he would love to have another one for the rental house he just moved into last week.
We liked ours enough that we ordered one for our daughter for her Christmas gift (before we knew our son needed another one or we would have gotten one for him, too). It was faulty and smelled like burning wiring when she ran it, so she contacted Plow and Hearth, was told to discard that stove and they promptly sent her a new one, which works just fine. Absolutely cannot complain about Plow and Hearth's customer service!!!!

We have owned this for over a year now, and really love it. Our large bedroom is at the back of the house and gets pretty chilly, this warms it right up.It looks great, and does not get hot to the touch so you can put decorations on top.The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can get noisy sometimes. When it does get noisy I give it a whack on the side and the noise stops right away.Assembly was simple, it basicaly comes put together, you just screw the legs on.I definately recommend this anyone who needs some extra heat in a room, it really does the trick.

I have been considering a portable stove or fireplace for a few years. This size was perfect for my livingroom. Ordered it and recieved it in 2 days. I was worried that it would arrive damaged,as other reviewers said theirs had,but it was fine. VERY easy to assemble:4 legs & 20 screws.Took me(a "single woman")15 mins. with a ratchet screwdriver. Dont understand how anyone could work up a sweat doing this but whatever.. Anyway, It warmed my room so quickly,I turned my heat down immediately! I truly am surprised by the quality of this item. It looks great too! I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Was a little worried ordering this online. First one arrived damaged. Customer Service handled this problem quickly and sent a new one out immediately. Second one arrived in perfect condition. Using it for additional heat in a 350 sq.ft. sunroom with high ceiling and it's perfect. Cool to the touch...looks nice...great price...no complaints.

I have it in my living room which is very large but it puts out the heat..It looks great, I bought the large red one goes very well with all my furniture..The only complaint is I wish it was bigger..other than that I love it..

I wrote a review the other day about the noise this stove makes. Plow and Hearth are going to send me another one, and they said to use the box with the pre-paid label for UPS to pick up. I do love the stove (other than the noise) Plow and Hearth has excellent customer service!

I usually have no problem with spending alot of money on something I know I will like - but, I took a gamble on this product - and am surprisingly happy. It is plastic (which makes sense considering the cost obviously) - and originally I was not sure I would like it - but, it works really well and looks good in my room. I use it in a very large finished basement - and it actually warms up the whole room! It is simple and easy to use and works well.
