I purchased the kettle to serve two purposes: Humidify the air and add some much needed color to our family room. The red kettle does both. Have had a lots of compliments, too.

Great Steamer Kettle

Attractive red kettle for our black cast iron stove. So easy to fill, You don't have to remove it from the stove to fill or even remove the lid for that matter. Just use any lightweight plastic pitcher and you can pour water right onto the lid to fill without removing it, and you won't spill a drop.
Great working steamer kettle.
