Add healthy moisture to the air and dress up your wood stove with our Triceratops Dinosaur Wood Stove Steamer, our first dinosaur design ever! Finely detailed cast iron steamer holds approx. 2¾ quarts of water, so it won't run dry when left on your stove overnight.

The Triceratops will delight people of all ages with its detailed design and friendly expression as team escapes from his snout. It's sure to bring a smile during every season, and looks good year round whether you're using your wood stove or not.

Using your wood stove generates much needed heat yet dries the air. An energy-efficient alternative to electric humidifiers, our long-lasting cast iron steamer is an easy, low-tech way to combat dry air, relieve allergies and asthma symptoms, and create a more comfortable, healthy living environment for people, pets and plants. Add essential oils, cinnamon sticks, cloves or potpourri for a pleasant fragrance and aromatherapy.

The design adds a charming touch to your wood burning stove in any season - it makes a great conversation piece, as well as a unique gift! This wood stove accessory also works with pellet stoves, coal stoves and corn-burning stoves.

Care and Cleaning

Seasoning
You can season your steamer just like a cast iron skillet. Wipe the entire steamer, inside and out, with food-grade vegetable oil that has a high smoking point (soybean, canola). Place it in a 400 degree oven for 30-60 minutes. Allow to cool completely. Repeat as needed.

Storage
Wash with warm soapy water and a soft-bristled brush. Rinse well and dry thoroughly before storage. Keep in a cool, dry place with the lid off. Place 2-3 paper towels inside to help absorb any moisture/humidity that may accumulate.

Rust Removal
Rust will naturally occur. Remove it from your cast iron steamer with a piece of fine-grade sandpaper. Rinse the steamer, dry thoroughly with a soft towel, then re-season.
