not properly aligned arrived with some dings and scratches bought the matching fence flimsy loops that hold each piece together broke off easily when attached to each other. it still looks good.

The pieces for part of this were not fitted correctly but I was very pleased and impressed with the customer service representative who recognized the problem and promptly sent replacements that did work.

arbor came on time. i did order one orginally for my back garden which i loved. the new one however has to be repainted as it had scratchs and lots of rust on it. lucky my husband will do his own touch ups. it is a very pretty design, but can you tell me why we can't make these in AMERICA.

I bought this to put over my paver walk next to the mailbox. I planted Carolina Jessamine on one side of it. The vine has grown nicely, and covering the top of the arbor now - all that is good. It is a little flimsy, to be honest! About a month after I got it (and had thrown away all the packing materials and box, of course) the thing started rusting...the paint started peeling off in droves on the rungs up top. I was a fool to buy something like this online [*]

Since this product came without installations instructions, I found it a little difficult to assemble by myself. With a little rope to hold lose ends together I was able to put it up. It's a little flimsy but for the price you get your monies worth. Nice decorative Arbor.

Poor quality construction and material. 3 out of 4 gate screws could not be tightened as nut stripped out. Came rusted in box and after first light rain there was rust all over it. Poorest powder coat I have ever seen if in fact it is powder coated. Gates are ineffective and the latch is ridiculous. Came with broken welds on scroll work. I am going to have to paint it, provide a new system for mounting gates and repair broken welds before I can use this cheap product. My advice, pay a little more and get a quaility product that can be used with no modifications.

We have had this for not even a full year and now the black finish is falling off in chunks causing the metal underneath to rust!!! I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the product and because it is such a big piece find myself stuck with it! Going to have to go through all the hassle of sanding it and repainting. Not a happy customer!

I bought two of these about 12 months apart. The 2nd one has rusted at every junction in just 8 months. Beautiful, but be ready to brush the rust away and repaint every year if you want it to last. I bought matching fence, and the fence has the same problem. NOT A QUALITY PRODUCT!

I purchased this arbor to provide shelter to my bird feeder visitors from the newly arrived marauding/swooping red-tailed hawks. I also wished to add to the landscaping/design of my surrounding gardens.

The unit is quite attractive. I cannot comment yet on how it will hold up to being outdoors year-round but it looks promising.

The unit was a bit difficult to setup with one person as you had to hold pieces in place while bolting it together but in the end it was doable as a one person job. It is quite sturdy once bolted together and staked to the ground.

Mine had a defective crossbar when it arrived (clearly should not have left the mfg. plant in that condition) but it was promptly replaced by customer service at no charge.

Overall this is a nice piece at a value price.

The Arbor is used to seperate the flower gardens from the backyard keeping dogs out of the garden.
Looks good and I like the width of Arbor making carrying plants into garden easier.
Hard to level off gate so that it closes propely.

The arbor is very nice to look at, HOWEVER it's not very stable nor is it the best quality. When it arrived it was already starting to rust and like other reviewers remarked, it was missing most of the screws to put it together. Lesson learned - I would not buy something that large on-line again because - you guessed it - I can't lug it back to be returned. Dealing with Plow and Hearth on the customer service side (to call for the hardware) was a pleasure - the arbor not-so-much...

We put this behind a gate in our fence. Cemented its feet in the ground to ensure stability. It looks nice, and provides a good support for autumn clematis to grow over the gate.

I assembled the arbor and had it in place when my husband came home. I added LED Tube lights that follow the design and detail of the arbor. The arbor adds whimsy and lighting to the trail through the woods to our home.

Upon delivery, pieces of arbor were not secured and not in proper wrappin g materials. Numerous parts of gate and arbor were covered with rust...I did call about this, but I had someone available to put this gate up and did not have the time to return.

This trellis is a beautiful additon to the garden, it is lovely to see at any angle. It is a sturdy set up also. My grandson tried climbing on it right away, before I was able to lay the ground rules, and the trellis stood firm just having used the stakes inclosed. I would recommend this product for any garden.

This arbor is very sturdy for the two climbing roses that will be on it. I had a wooden arbor for them, and it disintegrated after a few years, from the heat in Texas and the pull from the roses. I searched a long time for the right one at the right price and am very happy with the quality.

The gate with this arbor is for decoration purposes only. If you intend to use it as part of a fence system to secure dogs or children, it would require modification of the latch.
