I used it in our truck while traveling. We had a really cold winter and it did help take the chill off. I expected it to put out a little more heat than it did. It is not as warm as an electric blanket. It is a large blanket and can easily wrap around your feet or spread out over another passenger. I like this blanket, but, like I said, I was looking for a little more heat to be generated by it.

Works good when used under your normal blankets. Was warm and it was 26 degrees outside.

Bought as a gift for a friend in California who is confined to a wheelchair. She does use it in her car on the way to and from work. She likes it as it does keep her legs warm. She just wishes she could keep it on once she gets out of the car.

It has a timer on it. You have to keep reseting it to keep it on.
