I had been looking for an alternative to plastic dishware for my two toddlers and stumbled upon these. I started with four bowls and four salad plates. I have come back for more and want to complete the set. They are colorful and the kids love them. I feel great about using them and am slowly getting rid of all of the plastic. I am going to try and complete the set. Please don't discontinue selling them. I can not find them anywhere else.

The plates are as described but the colors are definitely not as vivid as shown in picture. I bought the yellow and brown and they are quite bland looking, hence a 4-star rating and not a 5. I'd recommend them with that caveat.

The dishes cannot be used in the microwave which
is inconvenient. Also they really do look like
plastic.There's not a hint of anything organic

There are so few selections of bowls which are shaped between a plate and a bowl (shallow and big) anywhere. This line of products would be a great place to produce one.

Wide, shallow bowls are ideal as the dish of choice for families that eat Asian, Mexican, Indian or Italian food -- dishes that pair the main course with rice, pasta or served over a flat bread.

Bowls help contain the heat within the food, which a plate does not.

But why the preference for a bowl size other than the one in this product offering? Besides the fact that it is easier to eat over a bigger bowl and not spill onto the table, there is something else: clean up considerations.

Dishwashers are prevalent and shallow wide bowls fit perfectly into the section designed for plates. They will come out clean stacked in just as densely.
